We stayed here in June 2025 for three nights. We reserved a “Traditional Double” room in this 4-star hotel. The hotel was charming, well-appointed, and had a wonderful courtyard. Our room (named Corton) was generally quite clean and had a mini refrigerator and coffee making supplies. However, the bathroom had obvious black mildew in several places in/around the shower. It was also impossible to shower without getting water in other areas of the bathroom floor, which then required that we use the bath towels to mop up all the water. Also, the layout of the furniture in the room was a bit challenging to navigate. The bed is too large for the space, the fireplace mantle encroaches too far into the narrow path to the bathroom, and the bathroom door only opens about one-third before it hits the bed. ||An oddity about our room was the fact that our bathroom did not have an electrical outlet for the hair dryer. So, when we wanted to use the hair dryer, we had to find an outlet in the bedroom area. The bathroom only had an outlet for a European electric razor, which will not accommodate a European hair dryer.||We think the owners should sleep in this room for one night in order to better understand the improvements they should make to this room.||The included breakfast each morning was delicious and fabulously presented, with excellent service from the staff. The front desk staff members were also extremely helpful and provided excellent service and recommendations. The courtyard was a relaxing place to have breakfast or to enjoy a glass of wine.||Parking was on-street and very close (either in front of or behind the hotel) and easy to pay using an app.||We recommend this hotel, but staying in a room other than Corton may provide a better guest experience.

Hôtel charmant et bien placé, accueil moyennement chaleureux et personnel peu disponible (car peut-être peu nombreux certes).
Mais surtout le monsieur qui était de garde de nuit a été vraiment désagréable, pas du tout compréhensif et même carrément malpoli.
Ce monsieur a mis 15 mins avant d’accepter de donner la clef de la chambre, car nous avions donner le numéro et non le nom écrit sur le porte clef.
Nous avions envie de fumer une cigarette en buvant un verre dans la cour car il faisait 30 degrés, il nous a crié dessus en nous l’interdisant et nous demandant de rentrer au fond du bar.
Nous avions ramener une bouteille et voulions boire un dernier verre, il n’était pas content car celle-ci ne venait pas de son bar, nous avons alors demander à en acheter une ou boire une boisson sur place, il a tout simplement refusé et préféré nous donner un tir-bouchon pour ouvrir notre bouteille.
Il a aussi refusé de nous fournir des verres à pieds et nous a donner des verres à eau en précisant « qu’il fallait quand même pas exagérer ».
Après un quart d’heure, il est revenu nous embêter et nous avons donc décider de monter dans nos chambres.
Vraiment dommage, c’était digne d’un gag et certainement pas digne d’un 4 étoiles.

Je n’aime pas du tout mettre de commentaire en général, mais alors là je pense qu’il est urgent que les responsables ou patrons soient avertis.

A beautiful, quietly elegant hotel on a quiet street with wonderful staff who were so helpful to these jet-lagged tourists. The location was perfect -- an easy walk from the train station and into the town center. Lovely breakfast that included local gingerbread!

We loved this hotel! The employees are the best. They helped us settle in to our room up the circular stairs, get to the parking garage, and gave us tips for restaurants. Our room was beautiful, with a lovely bath en suite. Plus they served a lovely breakfast! Easy walking distance to the heart of Beaune. We would return, and I sincerely hope we can!

Charmantes altes Haus, leider in die Jahre gekommen. Wir mögen diese alten Häuser, finden es aber schade, wenn es nicht in Schuss gehalten wird. Bei uns geht es hauptsächlich um die Böder, die in einem desolaten Zustand waren. Die Lage ist sehr gut, ein charmanter Innenhof mit einer gut gestückten Bar. Personal war freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass es eine drei Sterne Bewertung gibt.

Actually two hotels connected-we stayed at 50 Rue Thiers, which we highly recommend. An old Abbey that has been renovated. No elevators but the staff helps with the luggage. The bathroom is modern, and the room very clean. The staff is extremely helpful, and the location is great. We arrived by car, and the underground public parking is literally around the corner. when you reserve the room tell them you want parking. You will get a card that allows unlimited entry and excellent. The breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order..

Un séjour parfait à l’hôtel des remparts digne (et de loin) des 5 étoiles alentours a avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix
Équipe sympathique.
Chambres confortables et parfaitement équipée : Literie impeccable, draps soyeux, Télévision moderne
Salle de bain très agréable, spacieuse et lumineuse .
Très bon Petit déjeuner.
2 petits bémols tout à fait surmontable : 2eme étage sans ascenseur avec un petit escalier - pas évident pour les personnes âgées

I visited Beaune with my Nephew; he had a junior suite off the Courtyard and I had a standard room on the first floor. Both rooms were magnificent, with amazing bathrooms. The hotel is perfectly situated, just a couple of mins walk from the Place Carnot, in the centre of Beaune. The hotel is clean and the service is wonderful. Full of history and well located, and very reasonably priced - I will stay here again

Wenn man den Flair eines alten Hotels schätzt ist man hier richtig.|Schöner Innenhof und gute Bar. Kurz zu Fuss im Zentrum. Die jungen Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und machen einen tollen Job.|Parkkarte für die um die Ecke liegende Tiefgarage gibt's schon beim Einchecken.|Moderate Gebühr. Achtung: Kein Fahrstuhl.|Wir hatten das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss. Riesig und verwinkelt. Sehr romantisch.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Les Remparts Hôtels et Demeures Historiques earlier this week (Sept 2024) as we wrapped up a two week trip. Having spent 7 nights on a longboat down the Rhine River, we loved the spacious room and bath/shower, along with the beautiful accommodations and finishes in our room. We didn't realize the significant historical significance of the property until we had gotten home. ||Arnaud greeted us and took great care of us, including getting us settled and luggage to our third floor room, restaurant recommendations, directing us where to grab our bag lunch for our all-day wine tours, breakfast service, pouring the best wine, etc. And Louie saw us off and ensured our prompt trip to the train station. Thank you, Arnaud and Louie! ||We loved the fresh breakfast and great coffee, nice breakfast area, wonderful patio/courtyard area and cool bar area with an awesome wine list. The assistance with wine tour recommendations, restaurant reservations, tips and advice, etc etc was spot on.||We commend Bruno and Emmanuelle on a beautiful property and preserving such a historic treasure! Along with employing the nicest and most courteous staff we came across on our two week trip to France, Germany and The Netherlands, you won us over as the only place to stay when we are back in Beaune.

C’est notre deuxième séjour à l’hôtel des remparts et nous adorons cet endroit plein de charme, de calme et de sérénité. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse extra, l’accueil est chaleureux et très professionnel. La literie et les draps sont d’excellente qualité, la chambre bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Bonjour. Notre expérience dans cet hôtel a été mémorable de par la serviabilité du personnel. Surtout Louis et Arnaud, de la réception, qui tous les deux m'ont aidée à résoudre un problème de documents perdus. Chapeau à eux. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel était très bien, tant la chambre que le PDJ. Het hotel is mooi en charmant, het personeel heel vriendelijk. De bedden lagen wel zeer slecht en zijn ook klein, alsook de douche is zo smal dat je er amper in kan bewegen en ook niet 100% proper. Het ontbijt is wel heel erg karig, wij zijn nog naar de bakker gegaan.. kamers zijn wel voorzien van airco wat natuurlijk een pluspunt is

A beautiful very French hotel with an extremely helpful and welcoming concierge/reception/manager (three in one) who checked us in and took our luggage to the room. The room was extremely nice and well appointed with lovely sheets, toiletries and tea/coffee.|The courtyard breakfast was a nice touch although breakfast was a little disappointing for EUR 25 per head. That said we would definitely stay again although perhaps have breakfast out.|If I was to knock the hotel at all it would be a lack of decent shaving mirror which is unfortunately commonplace in a lot of good hotels.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was large with 2 windows looking out onto the beautiful courtyard. The bathroom was also large, but could have hooks to hang up towels and toiletry bags. Breakfast was served inside as it was too cool to eat in the courtyard. The buffet had excellent selections, and hot made-to-order egg dishes were also offered. Beaune, old city, is not large and everything was easily reached by foot within minutes. Parking was a block away, and free. Our room was up one floor by stone spiral steps. They were charming rather than difficult (we are early 70’s) and contributed to the ambiance of the hotel. Perfect place to stay for 2 nights.

The hotel does not live up to the beautiful pictures on their website. Generally feels a bit worn down and the air inside feels stuffy. Cleaning is so so and broken tiles and moldy spots in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet is very simple. Low three star rating.

La struttura è organizzata in una complessa dimora storica (sedicesimo secolo... mi pare di ricordare) che si sviluppa in ambienti abbastanza diversi tra loro appoggiati a quelle che erano le mura della città. Noi abbiamo avuto diritto ad una camera al terzo ed ultimo piano di una zona che dava su le alzate di Beaune. Inutile dire che non c'è ascensore e che - se è possibile - è meglio viaggiare leggeri ché le scale sono abbastanza strette e ripide. Pur essendo un hotel a quattro stelle un vero e proprio servizio di facchini non sembra esserci. Ciò nonostante, il tempo di scaricare i nostri bagagli e posteggiare l'auto, e il personale è riuscito ad organizzare la salita al piano delle valigie più leggere... mi sono occupato solo di quella più pesante. Il parcheggio è a pagamento (ad una tariffa forse non così conveniente) in un silos vicinissimo all'albergo. La nostra camera era in mansarda (sono alto un metro e novanta e ho dovuto fare attenzione a non sbattere la testa) arredata con dei mobili un po' vecchi più che antichi. Il bagno era all'europea con doccia e wc nello stesso locale. La colazione è servita in un locale che da sul cortile interno al piano terra. Pochi grandi tavoli con tovaglie bianche stirate (senza sovra tovaglia) e candelabro. Poche ed essenziali cose si trovano su di un buffet. Il resto -pane, burro, marmellate e viennoiseries - viene prontamente servito dal personale attento e veloce. I piatti caldi (uova eccetera) vengono preparati sul momento con pochissima attesa.

Everything was great except foot steps really annoyed me.

Etape vraiment très agréable dans cet hôtel de charme situé en plein centre-ville dans le vieux Beaune à l intérieur des Remparts. Toutes les prestations sont de qualité : personnel souriant et accueillant, chambre et salle de bain spacieuses, literie confortable, petit déjeuner complet excellent. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
