Staff were incredible, breakfast was incredible, lovely fresh food, and a great selection of anything you could want. The bar was a gorgeous space with the most inventive fresh alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, brilliant bartender. Great location close to everything and a tram just around the corner. Room was very comfortable, everything one needed. All in all exceeded all expectations

Première impression, super! Et la gentillesse du personnel, tout était parfait. Des informations ont été données avant la visite concernant le tramway à prendre, merci de ces informations pour éviter de prendre un taxi. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Un grand merci à vous !

Très bien situé mais je ne recommande pas si vous conduisez un véhicule avec toutes ces rues fermées avec bornes d’entrée et de sortie. La plupart des rues du centre-ville sont maintenant piétonnes. Les employés sont super gentils et efficaces. L’hôtel est quand même charmant.

Laundry facilities are NOT available at this hotel as advertised. And bring your own tea bags if you want to be properly caffeinated at breakfast. Coffee drinkers would never put up with decaf or flavoured coffee as the only options in the morning. Earl Gray, Green Tea or herbal teas are not proper breakfast choices!!!

Sehr zentral gelegen und dennoch ruhig. Sehr viel ist fußläufig zu erreichen, ansonsten steht ein sehr gut ausgebautes Netz von öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zur Verfügung. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr ansprechend und neu renoviert, alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielseitig, frisch, lecker und regional. Ich kann das Grand Hotel Français nur empfehlen.

Our stay at Grand Hotel Francais was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was very clean and quiet. Additionaly the location was great. The staff made some excellent recommendations for restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever come back to Bordeaux.

Really cute hotel with great service
We had a problem with the air conditioning unit in our room but was fixed promptly once reported
Loved the assorted breakfast choices and location is spot on - walking distance to all the sights and many restaurants cafes and shops

Clean, well maintained hotel in a pretty period building, positioned well for restaurants and main tourist attractions, but on a quiet side street. Staff spoke good English and were helpful. Breakfast was very good for a 3* hotel. Our room was very small, but that might just be a reflection of Bordeaux being an expensive city and us choosing a cheaper room.

Nous avons été royalement accueillis. Nous avons bien apprécié la propreté de la chambre, la literie et les équipements. Le personnel et le manager sont disponibles et sont aux petits soins et ils nous ont donné toutes les informations souhaitées. Le petit déjeuner buffet est trés varié et copieux. Les composé de très bons produits locaux et faits maison.Très bel établissement haussmanien et très bien situé, Nous avons effectué toutes nos visites à pied. Un autre point positif, la proximité de l'hôtel avec la station de tram en direction de l'aéroport.||Merci pour cet agréable séjour!

Great location, great hotel, great staff, great breakfast, in other words; just great. Picked this hotel at random and it was a lucky pick, quiet street in the heart of the Triangle, with brilliant shops on the rue du Temple and close by. The room had a balcony overlooking the street, no noise.

They say location is everything and they are partially correct. If your hotel is subpar, the location will only do so much to enhance your stay. This hotel checks all the boxes and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff is professional and very helpful for those who do not know Bordeaux. I would not hesitate to stay there again. And, it is only a 5 minute walk to Suzzie's, which serves the best breakfast I have ever had.

Management needs to make sure that the staff knows what products they are handing out to Guests. I requested a bag of Green Tea, which I drink often. I was given an unlabeled teabag that turned out to be something else. I had an allergic reaction and had an asthmatic episode that lasted for days! This is NOT acceptable. Otherwise, the staff was welcoming and professional. And the location and cleanliness of the hotel was great.

Fantastisk bra hotell med fine rom. Hotellet er akkurat passe stort slik at omgivelsene blir hjemmekoselig og lunt. Meget bra frokost ????Dette hotellet får terningkast 6️⃣ av meg. Skal tilbake hit ved en senere anledning. Beliggenheten er også helt perfekt. Må oppleves!!
