Stayed 3 nights at Marty. I base my hotel ratings mostly on sleep quality infrastructure and this hotel is solid in that regard: quiet, very comfortable bed/pillows/bedding, no obnoxious heating (winter stay) system.
The decor in the lobby is on point, but that on the upper floors/rooms is cluttered and off-putting. Space is tight in the rooms, made worse by a humongous TV, a large chandelier and way too many lights.
Staff is nice. Location is outside historic center, but only a 5-minute walk away. Likewise, there is a 5-minute walk to the A tram, which is the line between the airport and city center. For breakfast, Miah Cafe and Panshop are great, within 10 minutes and towards town.

El hotel en sí es pequeño. Aprovechan el bar/pub para los desayunos de la mañana y las mesas son un poco incomodas para desayunar, son más para tomarse una copa. El desayuno es muy justito y repetitivo, poco variado, . El primer día se acabó la bollería y tardaron como media hora en reponerla. Las mermeladas se cogen de un tarro grande, no son individuales.
Las habitaciones son tb muy justas de tamaño, así como el baño y la ducha. Eso sí una televisión de buen tamaño. La limpieza deja mucho que desear, pasan poco la aspiradora. Trajimos algo de arena de la visita a la Duna Pilat y la arena que pudimos soltar estuvo los tres días allí.
El parking caro, 25€ noche, no lo dejamos ninguna noche, además de no tener disponibilidad.
Lo único que nos gustó fue la amabilidad del personal y la decoración del hotel.
De by Hilton tiene poco.

Superbe séjour passé au Marty, personnel très agréable et discret.
Espaces et chambres décorés avec goût. Cocktails excellents !
Merci encore au professionnalisme de l'équipe et pour ses précieux conseils lors de notre séjour.
Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner très garni, un très bon rapport qualité/ prix avec des saveurs toujours au rendez vous.
Situation de l'hôtel très agréable, au cœur du centre de Bordeaux en quelques minutes !
Encore merci à tout le personnel, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Camere molto piccole, personale molto gentile, servizio lavanderia praticamente inesistente. La lavanderia non provvede alla stiratura anche se a me è sembrato che non abbia nemmeno provveduto al lavaggio (colletti delle camicie nemmeno sbottonati) . Come hotel non vale il prezzo che costa.

Unfortunately my experience at the Marty was less than desirable. Location isn’t far from center city but the area just looks awful. Parking is a real experience here as the gate isn’t marked well and they did a poor job explaining the location and how to negotiate the multiple gates in and out. Maybe start with some signage that explains things. The garage belonged to a hotel that no longer exists (or doesn’t appear to) and the only sign is on a gate that wasn’t visible because a laundry truck was blocking it for an extended period. I went in and out of the hotel driving up and down the street 4 times before figuring it out! I literally had to demand the hotel employee come outside to show me the gate which wasn’t visible. Poor service and then they became argumentative about it only to realize their error. This place is in a poor location, rooms are average at best, and the front desk needs some hospitality training. They did absolutely nothing to make you feel welcomed at this property.

Le petit-déjeuner rudimentaire,manque de produits,pas de possibilité de manger un repas chaud le soir aux restaurant.
La chambre pèse très propre,pèse de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre....

L'hôtel est vraiment chouette avec un style artistique de goût !
Le personnel est à l'écoute et nous a très bien renseigné sur les adresses bordelaise !
Je recommande le petit déjeuner ( 22€ ) qui contient pas mal de fait maison et de produits de qualité !
La carte du soir en formule tapas était très sympathique aussi avec le mélange produit de la région / street food.
L'hôtel reste un peu excentré dans une rue relativement calme mais non loin de celui-ci car une petite balade de 10 minutes à pied vous emmène directement au coeur du centre historique !
Nous reviendrons !
