Our group had booked several rooms at the hotel, and I was one of the guests who had reserved an upgraded room. As the last person in the group to check in, I was given a room that did not match the standard of the upgraded room I had booked.||When I raised this with the hotel, I was told that I could only receive a room matching my original upgrade if I paid an additional fee per night—even though such rooms were available. This is not the level of service I would expect from a hotel chain of this reputation.||Overall, it was a disappointing experience that fell short of expectations. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously to improve future guest experiences.

Disappointing Experience with Room Upgrade

Perfect option for a short term stay in Bordeaux. We were delighted to spend two nights at this beautiful hotel. Smooth check-in (as a Radisson VIP member), our room was upgraded to the corner room with a stunning river view. The personal was super friendly, especially the receptionist guy with curly hair named
Mathias, he was so kind, hospitable and professional! He helped us with every requests we had during the stay!

The breakfast was quite regular, there was not much options to choose from, but since it was complementary I can’t complain at all.

The rooftop bar and restaurant was really nice during the late evening, we had a few cocktails and I would highly recommend to try the Caipirinha there!

Location was ok, you can reach the center by 35-40 minutes walking or 15 minutes by tram.

Overall, I would give this hotel a solid 9 out of 10 and looking forward to come back here in the nearest future!

J’ai récemment contacté Radisson Blu Hôtel Bordeaux pour organiser un événement professionnel. Un devis m’a été adressé, que j’ai accepté par écrit, sous réserve d’une simple correction (une erreur sur un prix dans leurs propres CGV, rehaussé de 33% dans notre devis…). À peine 15 minutes après cet échange, la direction m’informe que la prestation est finalement annulée… car un autre client aurait signé le même devis pour la même date, entre-temps.
Selon l’établissement, cette pratique serait justifiée par la mention "sans option" figurant sur le devis. Or, notre acceptation par mail était explicite et sans équivoque : nous avions donné notre accord sur la prestation, seul le détail du prix du café restait à ajuster.
Résultat : la même offre est envoyée à plusieurs clients sans aucune garantie, et même une acceptation par écrit ne protège pas d’une annulation de dernière minute au profit d’un autre client. Une méthode que je considère déloyale et contraire aux bonnes pratiques commerciales.
Je laisse cet avis pour alerter les futurs clients : chez Radisson, un devis accepté ne vaut pas engagement tant qu’un autre ne l’a pas signé avant vous — même quelques minutes plus tard ; )
C’est regrettable, surtout pour une chaîne hôtelière de cette envergure.
