This place in Meursault is a bit hidden; right off a big road and the entrance isn’t super obvious. Let me start by saying: the wines here are genuinely excellent and a lot of them surprisingly affordable. Not cheap, of course, but even for €50 or €60 you can get a great bottle. They also give good advice about what to drink, the sommelier was very kind.
Unfortunately, the rest of the service feels quite cold and uninterested. They clear plates incredibly fast and rush the courses one after the other. It’s honestly such a pity.
The menu is very, very small. You can pick either a three-course or six-course menu, but if you go for six courses, you basically just get all the available dishes; there’s no real choice.
The gougères (cheese puffs) and amuse bouches (appetizers) we got — they’re free of charge — were very good and made us think we were off to a great start.
But the dishes were unfortunately really underwhelming. The menu felt dated and uninspired; like getting iceberg lettuce on a stick (seriously?!) as a side with the pasta. The first course with the crispy soft boiled egg was okay, but the carrot and dill sauce was a bit weird.
The main course was especially bad: rigatoni pasta that was undercooked, a bisque that was cooked way too far, truffle that tasted like nothing — overall flavors that just didn’t work. To top it off, we both felt unwell afterwards.
The setting is quite pretty but also feels cold and lifeless. Not exactly the kind of place that makes you want to stay for a long dinner. Which is such a pity, because the wines are EXCELLENT — they deserve a much warmer, more thoughtful experience.

Echt heerlijk gegeten. Niet normaal. Fine dining met de beste wijnkaart die ik heb gezien. Ook hele schappelijke prijzen voor een fles, al blijven het wel flessen bourgogne. Voor de 6 gangen gegaan, en elke gang was een waar culinair hoogtepunt. Kom hier zeker een keertje terug.

Gutes, solides Restaurant. Jeder Gang war sehr schön angerichtet und hat gut geschmeckt. Uns hat allerdings immer das gewisse etwas gefehlt, mit dem Preis von 90 € für das Tasting Menü bin ich der Meinung, kann man mehr erwarten. Der Service war eher Zweck gebunden und hätte auf jeden Fall herzlicher und einladender sein dürfen. Was sehr gestört hat, ist die sehr grosse Anschrift in der Menükarte, dass wenn ein Weinglas kaputtgemacht werden würde, man 35 € zahlen muss und die angedrohten 90 € Stornogebühr pro Person wenn nicht rechtzeitig gemeldet.
Alles in allem eine gute, aber nicht hervorragende Erfahrung.

Wonderful lunch spot in Meursault!
Le Soufflot offers a delicious tasting menu that’s perfect even for lunch — elegant, seasonal, and beautifully presented. Great atmosphere and a fantastic wine list with plenty of local options. Highly recommended!

This was a last minute plan and we were SO happy we were able to get in! We spent almost 4 hours there and had about 10 courses with some amazing wines! The service was so great! Our waiter was super friendly! The wine selection was to die for! We had to have a friend back in the states help us pick some really special bottles out! The price was something you just don't see anywhere else! I would recommend this to anyone traveling in the area!

Vins excellents : le patron est de très bon conseil pour le choix des vins.
Service un ton en dessous en termes de convivialité ( à l'exception du patron) et qualité de l'accueil : un peu plus de sourire de chaleur nuiraient pas. Mais rien de dramatique, et, c'est une adresse que nous recommandons chaleureusement.
Vins excellents : le patron est de très bon conseil pour le choix des vins.

Nous avons pris le menu dégustation pour 90 euros en 6 temps, qui est un prix très raisonnable.
Des produits bien travaillés et harmonieux. Léger bémol sur le second plat avec la truffe qui n'était pas à notre goût. Mais tout de même bien travaillé.
Une carte des vins très bien travaillée et des conseils avisés.
Finalement, nous avons pu passer un excellent moment, merci à toute l'équipe, aussi bien en salle que en cuisine
