I’ve never had this in my life - trying to eat and visiting two restaurants, then having service denied because of what seems to be race.
My wife entered the establishment to ask if we (party of 4) could eat and people were all looking at her. A very grumpy staff member (most likely the owner) said there was no more room for us to eat. The restaurant was mostly empty, without reservations! His demeanor, his face, his communication told us everything. We weren’t welcome.
Cherry on top - a guest member of the hotel where we were staying was looking aggressively at us, for no reason.
This area is weird, and I cannot recall having seen this behavior before.

Je vous recommande vivement Le Chambol. Un accueil des plus chaleureux comme il se fait rare aujourd'hui.

Les plats sont succulants travaillés avec le coeur..
C'est sûr que cette adresse restera une de nos préférées.

Nous avons très bien mangé dans ce restaurant, c'était délicieux, nous espérons y retourner.

Ici on renoue avec les valeurs bourguignonnes aussi bien dans le décor que dans l assiette ce qui se perd de plus en plus de nos jours.
