Je recommande vivement à toute personne passant par Vains.
We booked because we know how busy it can get but were met with a blank stare when we arrived. ‘Oh yes, there on the left’ and pointed into the restaurant.
The server then asked what we would like to drink, we had an apéro but no sign of a menu. She told us what was on offer and we chose. The starters were fabulous but at 12 euros each they should be.
We were offered no wine so asked for a carafe, the sullen young waitress tossed the menu at us, that was the last we saw of her. The starter dishes were not cleared but the mains were served. We had to ask again for some wine when we were offered probably the most expensive in the bar.
The food was ok, sadly just ok and we left totally disappointed. Needless to say we won’t rush back.
