Excellent location if you are walking to the ferry terminal or want to explore this beautiful place. There didn't appear to be an elevator so if you have mobility issues its possibly not suitable. Clean and tidy rooms, gentleman at reception is very friendly and spoke better English than I French. Highly recommend.

Atroce !|Certes bon marché et bien placé, mais l’hôtel est vieillot et moche.|Le personnel vous flique en exigeant une pièce d’identité alors que ce n’est pas l’usage en France et que j’ai réglé par avance,|Et il faut régler le petit-déjeuner à l’avance.|Ambiance centre de rétention. D’ailleurs, les services sociaux y cherchaient en vain une personne placée par la justice.|A éviter.

Unfortunately this hotel was a bit of mixed bag despite some significant advantages. The location is close to the main bar and club section of Cherbourg, so if you will be out and about everything is very close by. There is a good bit of noise from the bars until late at night and not all rooms have curtains which can cause issues sleeping in the summer. My biggest issue with this hotel was the prevailing smell of mildew in rooms and hallways as well as black mold spots in the bathroom & shower. The level of cleanliness was not up to standard. Service was also below standard, with staff promising a fresh breakfast and delivering warmed-from-frozen pastries. Staff also engaged in heated conversations with hotel management in front of guest and overall did not make this a welcoming experience. I think this hotel does have potential and improvements seemed to be in progress during our visit. However, I would recommend finding other lodging when visiting Cherbourg.

Sympathique hôtel dans le centre de Cherbourg, qui a été rénové. Le petit déjeuner est bien, les chambres sont confortables et le service est vraiment un plus. Merci à vous d'avoir pu ouvrir le petit déjeuner 10 minutes plus tôt que d'habitude, c'est fort appréciable.
