The staff here went out of their way to help us have a great dinner late on a Friday night. When we arrived we saw two people in front of us take the last table. We asked if there was space for two (in horrible French), and rather just say no and turn us away, he said if we could wait 5-10 minutes, another table was settling up. After we were seated, we did see other people get turned away, so they really didn't need to go out of their way for us. We had read the reviews about supposed different treatment of non-locals, but we had the exact opposite experience. The food was excellent, the staff was very patient with our broken French, and the atmosphere was great, as I think we were the only non-locals in the restaurant on this particular evening. I could not recommend this restaurant more.
