Good location and service was good.
Only issue was the bed bugs, my bed was infested. I told the front desk about it, they didn't look surprised and told me people bring them to the hotel...
Don't know if they acted on it.

WARNING: not only does this hotel have bedbugs but the reception staff will accuse you of bringing them yourself and scream at you because apparently scratching too much is what led to 20+ bug bites all over your face and body. To be avoided if you value your physical integrity.

Zero accountability and extreme aggressiveness when the problem was brought to the staff’s attention. To be avoided at all costs.

Anco is like home to us. We always stay here when we visit Amsterdam. For us, it's all about the cleanliness, service, friendliness, location, and of course the canal view!
Karl & Joseph are wonderful hosts & always treat us like friends/family. Staff is always attentive & friendly. Rooms are always clean. The breakfast is always delicious especially the ham & cheese toast, the coffee is always perfect!
Thank you Karl & Joseph for always making our vacation an amazing one! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

חוויה מאד מעניינת . המיקום והעיצוב של המלון, מתאימים לאווירה ברובע החלונות האדומים . עם זאת החדרים היו נקיים , וגם המקלחת והשירותים המשותפים נשמרו נקיים כל הזמן.
אנשי הצוות היו מאד נחמדים, בכל בוקר היתה אווירה משפחתית ושמחה .
עבורי זו היתה חוויה מאד מעניינת ואני שמח על הבחירה.

Brilliant place in the center of Amsterdam, close to everything... but also a bit noisy, but if you love being in the center of events - this is the place for you :) Fantastic owners, delicious breakfasts and aromatic coffee in the morning!
I highly recommend Hotel Anco and hope to come back soon:)

Nous avons adoré le Anco Hôtel, trés bien placé et les hôtes sont très accueillants et gentils, le déjeuners est aussi inclus très bo rapport qualité-prix, nous y retournons n'importe quand :)

La pasamos bien. La atención en el hotel es muy buena. El desayuno es excelente!

Sólo para agregar información:
Hay un baño/ducha compartido cada 2 habitaciones, siempre muy limpio.

La zona es ruidosa durante el día por las campanas y los turistas, también al amanecer por las aves en el canal.

El edificio tiene 3 pisos y no hay ascensor, cómo en la mayoría de edificios de este estilo en Amsterdam.

I have had the pleasure of staying twice at the Anco. Clean rooms, excellent customer service and a quick walk from the train station. Although I’m a solo traveler, the I’ve felt safe and comfortable staying there. Karl is wonderfully helpful with suggestions of where to have a meal or drink. And, lovely to just sit and have a conversation with over a coffee.

Hier haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für eine Städtereise nach Amsterdam haben wir dieses kleine, familiäre Hotel zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr gebucht. Die Wahl fiel wegen der sehr zentralen Lage entsprechend aus. Unser Zimmer war mit Dusche, WC, großem TV, Musikanlage, kleiner Küche, W-LAN, Zimmersafe und Kaffeemaschine sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Ausblick von unseren Fenstern auf die „Alte Kirche“ und die vor dem Haus vorbeiführende Gracht war überraschend bezaubernd und einmalig. Um das sehr teuere Parken in der Innenstadt zu vermeiden, sind wir auf einen der sehr preiswerten (ab 1€/Tag) P+R-Parkplätze am Stadtrand ausgewichen. Von den Hausherren (Karl und Josef) wurden wir sehr herzlich beherbergt und zu dem besonders leckeren Frühstück mit zahlreichen nützlichen Besucherempfehlungen versorgt. Durch die große, unaufdringliche und aufmerksame Gastfreundschaft, die nicht nur uns sondern jedem Besucher dieses Hauses zu Teil wurde, haben wir uns in der Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes sehr wohl dort gefühlt.

J'ai passé une excellente semaine dans ce petit hôtel très bien situé en plein centre dans le red district.
Petit déjeuner inclus.
La Gare n'est vraiment pas loin à pied ainsi que le métro, tramway et bus.
Les bars et restaurants sont juste à côté également.
Je remercie karl le patron pour son accueil chaleureux ???? et aussi Mélissa et Nikita ainsi que les autres.
Les tarifs sont vraiment abordable comparer à toutes les locations à côté.
Hôtel très Propre et personnels à l'écoute.
Je reviendrai dans cette hôtel lors de mon futur voyage à Amsterdam.
Je recommande fortement.
