I just stayed here for a 13 night business trip. I've stayed at various hotels throughout Amsterdam over the past couple of years for work including - Park Plaza, art'otel, Sofitel, Raddison, Amrath, etc. Anyway, Kimpton De Witt was the best experience I have had. Not necessarily the largest nicest rooms but the service and the staff is exceptional. Everyone on the team here is so lovely, front desk staff was wonderful and so helpful. The restaurant breakfast is great, and the servers in the restaurant were awesome. The rooms were cleaned beautifully every day and they refill water bottles daily as well.
Obviously the one downside is the hotel is located directly in city centre which is very crowded on the weekends with tourists.
Highly recommend if you appreciate good service.

My only negative comment is about the bathrooms which are small , terribly outdated , the blue and white tiles in bathroom are horrible so is the lighting in the bathroom which is very inadequate and the bathrooms are dark .Otherwise no complaints.

Disappointing stay. I visit Amsterdam every 3 weeks, I really enjoy the comfort of the beds in Kimpton De Witt but the service is so-so. Despite staying here multiple times there is never any recognition of me coming back, fine, most hotels are this poor at welcoming repeats customers. However, tonight I arrived back to my room and finally found the room service menu, I called and ordered food only to be told the kitchen was closed because it was “5 minutes past”. I specifically called at 22.01. I explained it was only 1 minute late and I was told that the kitchen was closed and I needed to call reception, which I did and they transferred me back to the same unhelpful kitchen staff. Honestly, given I pay €250 per night in this hotel and I despise that I cannot he afforded 60 seconds grace on a food order. Quality hotels do not have staff like this, nor treat customers like this. I won’t stay here again, nor will any of my team who visit Amsterdam weekly. Petty service.

We arrive at 17:09 and the rooms are not ready! No free drinks or anything as compensation. Just: wait around the corner please! For this price a joke! Zero stars but not possible on Google maps!
Room was fine but not enough space for 2 people luggages and bathroom was very small too.
My room was never cleaned despite having requested it several times. They apologized and told me I would find it cleaned when I returned; but NOTHING. I complained to the manager at the front desk who also got pissed that I was pissed off and the only thing she told me was that she could provide me with clean towels and a person who could make my bed immediately (it was 11p .m.). I said I would expect a refund for a service not received, response: "we will let you know".
I'm still waiting.....
