I had a really nice stay at The Toren.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Comfortable and aesthetically-pleasing room. It had everything I needed and had a decent amount of space. No noise issues/complaints.
The overall premises had a very good look / decor style.
The food was excellent and the lounge was nice, quiet and relaxing.
The location is absolutely perfect. It's a nice 20 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal (not right in the centre where it is busy), it's positioned right next to the beautiful canals, bridges and small shops. It is also a 30m walk from the Rijksmuseum and the area surrounding.
Very good value for money and it absolutely lives up to its high rating.
I enjoyed staying here very much and would like to return at some point.

Nice hotel, but very expensive for what it is

Wirklich hübsches Hotel (allein der Eingangsbereich und die Bar! ????) ein wenig abseits des größten Trubels, in einem beschaulichen Stadtviertel mit netten kleinen Bistros und Bars.
Die Mitarbeiter (besonders die am Empfang!) sind ausgesprochen höflich und gastfreundlich, das Interieur geschmackvoll und hochwertig-elegant, ebenso wie die Zimmer und Badezimmer. Auch das Frühstück war von sehr guter Qualität! Einziges Manko (aus unserer Sicht): leider nur à la carte und nicht vom Buffet (was Manchem bestimmt gefällt und mal was anderes ist, womit wir uns aber etwas schwer getan haben, da wir von einigen der von uns gewünschten Produkten weder die niederländische noch englische Bezeichnung kannten und sie daher nicht bestellen konnten, und man die Mengen nicht selbst bestimmen kann). Aber abgesehen davon:
Alles top und ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt!
