We rented 2 suites & they were beautiful.
The one had the cutest little deck. Beds were comfy! Very clean. Perfect locale!

Great location. Good size for hotel room w fridge, espresso machine, tea pot, desk, couch. Plenty of room to do a morning yoga practice. The staff cleaned our room and we felt very taken care of-

The code based entry system is more convenient than a key, so I liked that.

Fridge with cold drinks was a nice touch.

The dirty underwear from the previous guest was less of a nice touch.

The WiFi password being written down wrong was also something we had to address.

The safe was still locked by the previous guest so we couldn't use it without contacting the owner.

The aircon sounded like it was Diesal powered and leaked over the floor.

And the sofa and arm chairs in the reception room had some very questionable stains on them, these were not spilled drinks... See for yourself in my photos (both normally visible and under a (UV) Black light.

We stayed in the Wolvenstraat room. Totally great, unique, clean. It felt nicer than the 4 plus star hotel in Barcelona's Eixample area.
The location was outstanding.
There are stairs, so be prepared, but being right in the 9th district was crazy cool.
Lot's of places to eat, drink, ride a bike.
Merel was a great host.
The entrance is a bit tight for luggage and just getting into the hotel. But that is more of a street thing versus a Hotel thing.

Highly recommended.

Perfekte Übernachtung im Zentrum von Amsterdam. Das Zimmer ist sehr gross und geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Minibar wird täglich kostenlos aufgefüllt, soauch die Nespressokapseln. Das Bett und die Kissen waren sehr bequem.
Das Badezimmer einfach traumhaft.
Vielen liebe Dank an die freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin.

Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt :-) Lage und Zimmer sind top und die Besitzerin Merel total lieb. Sie hat uns tolle Tips für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen:-)

Wir sind zum 2. Mal in Amsterdam und zum 2. Mal im Hotel IX.
Dieses Hotel ist einfach perfekt! Merel, die Gastgeberin, ist super und sehr aufmerksam und immer gut gelaunt.
Das Hotel liegt extrwm zentral und ist dabei preislich dennoch bezahlbar.
Die Zimmer sind alle anderst, ein richtiges Bijoux.
Die Treppen sind sehr schmal und steil, besser mit kleinem Gepäck.
Letztes Mal waren wir im obersten Stock mit Blick auf die Strasse, dieses Mal im 1. Stock mit Blick zum Hinterhof und uns hat beides super gefallen. Wir reisen mit 1 Teenager und er hatte jedesmal sein eigenes Zimmer.
Minibar ist prall gefüllt und das Leeren dieser ist im Preis inkludiert. Sehr sauber. Sehr bequeme Betten.
