We felt warmly welcomed when we arrived. Our rooms were beautiful and had lovely canal views. The breakfast was wonderful and all the people at the hotel were friendly and made us feel well cared for. The location of the hotel was perfect!

Great experience at Sofitel Legend The Grande. Booked through Amex as a Fine Hotel and was upgraded to a Suite. The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam with plenty nearby. All of the staff was wonderful especially the staff at the restaurant where we had breakfast as well as at the bar in the hotel restaurant. Honestly, the only thing I would have to complain about is the lighting in the Suite. It was very dark and was made worst because our stay was during a couple of days of rain. I would definitely recommend a stay with Sofitel Legend The Grand. It definitely enhanced our visit to Amsterdam.

The hotel is very nice, situated in a perfect location. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, but some of them need to be renovated. While waiting in the lobby, they offered me a glass of champagne."

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. 2 wonderful restaurants- one fine dining and one more casual. Rooms are clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for you they were truly fantastic- everyone from the doorman to the reception staff to the cleaners to the restaurant staff. Pool/jacuzzi was slightly cold but a nice experience.

Another great hotel from Sofitel, we had a great weekends stay here with friends. The service was very good, all the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough. Breakfast was delicious and the staff again in the restaurant were amazing . Great location, highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel, service, people.
We had a lot of issues with our reservation, then the payment they couldn’t find, then a wrong invoice at the end. Very annoying and it kept coming up… without this, definitely a 5 star!
Some noise at night by drunk people as it is next to the redlight district.

Magnifique hôtel, très soigné, confortable, agréable et accueillant. Personnel stylé. sympathique, polyglotte et efficace. Qualité des aliments impeccable.
En un mot extrêmement plaisant.
Quelques ombres à ce tableau idyllique. Prix unique EUR 50.-.trop élevé pour un pt. déjeuner continental. Commission usuraire de 20% sur achat de numéraire, en cas d'oubli d'emporter du cash avec soi. Enfin, chambre tjrs pas nettoyée à 18h.
Pas graves, ces manquements ne devraient néanmoins pas exister dans un 5 étoiles. Mériterait largement ces dernières sans eux.

Hotel très bien situé, en plein coeur de la ville. Personnel accueillant et agréable parlant français. Très bon petit déjeuner. La chambre était très propre et la literie divine !
