I have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. And always had a positive experience. The rooms are spacious and kept clean. There are lockers in every room for security.
The bedsheets are always clean,fresh, and soft.
All rooms have good heating. The showers have good water pressure and stay hot.
It is in a great location, near to transport, shops, attractions, bars/restaurants.
And the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Tırmanmayı seviyorsanız bu eski bina size göre bir yer. Gördüğüm en tehlikeli dik merdivenler buradaydı. Tırmanma ekipmanı ile gelmelisiniz. Sadece F Numaralı odayı veriyorsa kabul edin, diğer odalara tanrıya yakın. Yatakları plastik bir şey ile kaplı ve hareket ettiğiniz an garip sesler çıkartıyor. Anahtar 10Euro, Hairdryer 20 euro depozito, çıkışta aliyorsunuz. Odanın kaloriferi çalışmıyor ama klima iyi. Banyo, tuvalet, oda ve yataklar çok temiz. Tercih edilebilir en iyi özelliği konumu. Her yere yürüme mesafesi.

Merci au personnel qui est très compréhensif. L’hôtel est propre, parfaitement situé et j’y ai rencontré des personnes formidables. Je reviendrai dans quelques mois.

Good place for one or two nights, not really any amenities for more than that. Clean, centrally located, female dorm was good. Only issue is that everything is extra, including towels, and only some lockers work (but bring your own lock).

One thing I love about this hostel is that it is pretty close to city center and the price is really affordable. Rooms are nice and clean but if you have a large luggage, it'll not be easy to go up these Dutch stairs. I wish the check-in time could be earlier.

The beds in the room were just bit to soft for all us in the rooms. The location is perfect just outside the main busy city bar is cheap under the hostel. Much nicer then the price in main street

Cant really say I enjoyed my stay here. The bathrooms need some serious ventilation installed. They smell of wet damp mold. Its really hard to shower because theres no where to put your stuff down or hang your towel… and stepping out of the bathroom in just my towel in-front of a room filled mostly of middle aged men is not something I wanted to do.

As a young female travel, I felt uncomfortable with a lot of the other guests in my room. Yes you might ask “why book a mixed person dorm?” I have no issue staying with mixed guests, but this hostel seems to attract a lot of older men… a lot who didn’t really make me feel comfortable and who come off super creepy.

The man in the bed underneath me also stunk of weed. Dont know if he was smoking it or just had it on him but it was SO strong and made me feel unwell. I know this is a legal thing in the Netherlands but there should be a policy not to do it in the hostel as a courtesy to other guests… Following on from that there was a man who would just down a whole bottle of wine every night and sit in his bed and just awkwardly make eye contact with everyone. Dunno it was just a bit odd

Also think the 5€ luggage hold is a bit of a rip off considering I was a guest.

Only pros I can think of is the bed was relatively comfortable and the hostel is in a pretty good location.

I wouldn’t stay here again.

Pros: excelente ubicación, cerca de todo, recepcionistas atentos, limpieza bien. Contras: camas muy pequeñas y ruidosas, no hay áreas comunes más que recepción, no tiene cocina, solo hay escaleras. Si van con mucho equipaje o valija, no es un hostel recomendable. Para una o dos noches está bien.

Bob's Youth est une auberge de jeunesse située en plein coeur d'Amsterdam, idéale comme pied à terre et vraiment peu chère! Je n'ai pas résidé dans l'hôtel mais dans l'annexe située 2 rues derrière, dans un bâtiment très typique. J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour, la seule ombre au tableau (étant non fumeuse) est que la salle commune de l'hôtel où l'on prend le petit déjeuner est "fumeur", les odeurs d'herbe à 8h du mat en prenant le petit déjeuner, c'est un peu trop pour moi! mais je recommande vraiment cette auberge à tous ceux qui recherchent plus un pied à terre qu'un grand confort!
