I REALLY loved my stay here! My ONLY complaint is there is no Air Conditioning. Great location, lovely staff, and despite the other reviews saying the rooms are small trust me these rooms are generous in comparison to the other hotels at the same price in decent locations. I was extremely comfortable space wise in room 242. I traveled here the first week of July 2023 and while it does cool down at night not having an AC makes it hard to nap if you’re trying to get a nap in during the day, as I got in at 4am and needed some extra sleep on my first day. I also recommend bringing eye mask and ear plugs, bc you have no choice but to keep the window open for air, you also hear the street noise. (Despite being on a VERY not busy street you will still here some traffic and conversations or construction etc)
I’m not someone who generally loves AC, but in this case it’s the only thing that would deter me from staying here again. Otherwise, 10/10!!!

The hotel is very central with great staff and hospitality. Rooms are a bit small but very functional. They also have a coffee machine and a hair dryer in the room which are a plus. Everyone was super welcoming and happy to help. The breakfast is basic but good. Definitely recommend it and will stay in it again when I visit Amsterdam.
The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but in a perfect location for tourists. The tram stop and bus station are a few blocks down from the hotel, and can take you anywhere in the city.
