Very nice hotel, clean and cosy rooms and wonderful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We’ve got surprised at checkout by the lovely gift pack which was given to us.

When my fiance was looking for a hotel and showed me the Jordaan Hotel, I was a little skeptical, but before I could say no, it was booked. I'm glad we came over here. The best attention ever. Emily was amazing. I stayed in a lot of different hotels, and she is one of the best customer service I have experienced.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Mr. Jordaan Hotel. We booked a large double room canal view for 2 nights in December, and our experience exceeded our expectations. We arrived early in the morning of check in, and while our room wasn’t quite ready, the front desk attendant happily locked up our belongings and provided recommendations on things to do, as well as offered us a place to relax in the lobby/breakfast area that offered free coffee/hot chocolate 24/7.
Our check in experience was smooth, I was so happy with the room (as you can see I added on some extras of balloons and cupcakes as it was my fiancés birthday - they offer a wide variety of affordable additions which I loved!,) and appreciated they had a WhatsApp number for the front desk with any and all questions throughout our stay. What made our stay even better was the support and recommendation for restaurants. We struck out finding a place to eat dinner - definitely make reservations in advance!! - but after walking aimlessly in the rain, we went back to the hotel and the front desk associate was able to recommend a few options, we selected our top pick, and he called and worked with the staff to squeeze us in on a Saturday night.
The location for this hotel is so perfect, away from the hustle and bustle but close (15 min walk or less) to most major attractions. If I find myself in Amsterdam again, this will be the only place we stay! Thank you Mr. Jordaan staff!

The pillows take a bit of getting used to. The bathroom could have been better designed to limit shower spray to the shower area. Those sensitive to noise should also note that floorboards are very creaky.
Overall, an enjoyable stay.
