Best hotel I’ve stayed in. Perfect location. The views are amazing. Right on the beach and best of both sand beaches and greenery. Loved the Tortoises!

1. Location - Perfect
Close to the northern end of the island and therefore quiet area with untouched nature, a beautiful view (sea/ curieuse island) and close to Praslins most beautiful beach Anse Lazio.
The hotel-beach is fantastic - looks nice and provides very good conditions for swimming as well as snorkeling.
2. Accomodation
The rooms are well-sized and offer plenty of space including a huge private terrace with a stunning view. The interieur is tastefully decorated. Feels like a perfect private luxury home.
3. Hotel
As the hotel uses a wide plot of land the villas are placed within the naturlike garden with pleasant distance to each other. So you have an intimate home. The whole hotel (restaurant / Pool / gym / facilities) are besutifully arranged. The hotel is well-kept. Small things (e.g. some missing tiles in the Pool) could be better but don‘t really matter in this outstanding overall Impression.
4. Diving
The different restaurants offer diverse cuisine at an excellent level. There is nothing more to say about that. One weird fun fact: you can drink as much water as you like for free during the day but you have to pay for the same water at dinner. This doesn‘t make sense and should be changed.
5. service
Service is actually what divides good from excellent hotels and maybe the most important aspect for your holiday you can‘t proof by pictures in advance.
So here is the good news:
The service at Raffles is outstanding. Everyone seems to be actively interested in making you feel comfortable with a natural friendlyness.
Examples:
- you approximately get served water, towels, a table and - as a family - sand toys without asking once you come to the beach
- kids are seen and integrated by the staff: they bring additional pillows for a higher seat at the table and bring separate menus with painting-Book-Style, let them „co-drive“ the buggys and they even brought a present to our room.
Conclusion:
We can highly recommend the hotel to all ages who appreciate high quality, excellent service and relaxing beauty.
