Me and my wife just finished the meal at la cantinola da livio restaurant and the food was amazing literally to die for, everything in the restaurant was so good if you guys in Rome rush to the restaurant right now and I tell you don’t regret.
Thanks so much for the last meal on our honeymoon in the best place ever!!!!!!!!

Quando leggi dalle recensioni che da Livio è come essere a casa, beh per me è stato proprio così. Disponibile a chiacchierare, pesce fresco in ricette deliziose, come i piatti della nonna di un tempo. In zona centralissima di Roma ma a prezzi onesti e sostenibili. Ristorante sardo, non romano. L’antipasto cantinola è abbondante e variegato e mi è piaciuto tutto,dalle insalate di pesce, a quelle di parmigiano e funghi, la mozzarellona, le ostriche, i funghi, mamma mia che buoni!
la pasta alle vongole e alla cantinola deliziosi, sopratutto, finalmente una pasta alle vongole che ha del sapore, i ravioli sono assolutamente da provare (ricetta della mamma)! le seadas al miele eccezionali, super. Il posto, caldo, bello, ed è davvero molto pulito (ad esempio, i ripiani alti non hanno un filo di polvere).
Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con un prosecco e a fine cena ci è stato offerto un liquorino a scelta. Un’ospitalità da 10 stelle!
È un posticino davvero da provare.
Io sono molto sensibile al pesce. Una volta mangiai in un posto pagando 100 euro a persona e non mi sentii molto bene, trovate la recensione più in basso, qui ne abbiamo pagati 40 a testa (con 2 vini di cui uno della casa) e ho passato una notte eccezionale, e a pancia piena!
Tornerò, ma con amici diversi. Ammetto che ero accompagnata da una coppia di amici poco educati. Perdonami Livio, verrò con persone degne della qualità che porti!! Grazie mille di tutto!!

Accueil très chaleureux, les spaghettis sont fraîches et délicieuses. Petit restaurant de quartier qui n'a rien d'un attrape-touristes. Quant aux prix, très corrects.

Ya entiendo porque en Roma el 90% de la restauración son pizzerias, NO saben lo que es un restaurante como conocemos en ESpaña, en Italia no saben hacer otra cosa que pasta y pizzas

Mejor no ir a este sitio si esperas comer carne o pescado como en España.

A must visit when in Rome, one of my favourites! Made to feel very welcome, I always tell people to come here if they are visiting the City. The food is very very good, drinks also! Do not go to Rome without eating here, lovely owner Livio and the atmosphere is fantastic. I will return soon hopefully!

Amazing place, I was here 10 years ago and it was awesome and now it is still fantastic.
I can definitely recommend pasta “la cantinola” and risotto “…de scampi” of course if you like sea food. Tiramisu is not bad but not the best. Also can recommend risotto with sea food.

I’ll come again during my next trip.

These are scammers....check your bill, it may be much more than you expect (bread without asking, table cloth, service tax etc). Food was just okay.

They’re scammers. They put 3 different antipastas on the table that we didn’t order and tried to charge us for it. Pasta tasted like it was from the grocery store. Dont go.
