Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir wurden an der Rezeption freundlich empfangen. Auf der Karte wurden uns die sehenswerten Ecken, Gebäude notiert.|Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet.|Das Servicepersonal lässt an Engagement und Aufmerksamkeit zu wünschen übrig. Mehr Freude am Job wäre wünschenswert.

Mega tolles Hotel, der Service war sehr professionell und super freundlich. Es ist sehr stylisch eingerichtet und hat eine ruhige Lage an einer Kirche. Eine schöne Überraschung war dass unser Hund im Zimmer ein Körbchen und einen Futternapf hatte. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Nice hotel, good location but I'd probably try something else next time in Lyon. The bathroom was very small with not nearly enough space to place toiletries. The shower/tub combo was not my favorite and the high wall meant getting in/out was an adventure in not slipping. Breakfast in the hotel and housekeeping were both efficient. If you're one who likes to sleep in late, the church bells alone are cause to choose something else although they never bothered me.

Cet hôtel très cosy, agréable et confortable est très bien situé entre la gare Perrache et la place Bellecourt. Le restaurant est excellent, mais nous avons trouvé les portions un peu petite......||Le personnel est très serviable et répond volontiers à toutes nos questions et demandes.

La chambre était très propre||le diner très moyen et très (très cher) cher ||le petit déjeuner ok sauf le dernier jour avec choix e pain pour 19 euros par personne (vitre porte de la cuisine innomablement sale!) ||En gros pas mal d'efforts à faire pour mériter les étoiles indiquées

The best find. Stayed here for two nights following a two week trip in SW France. Great room ( the best), location was central and very quiet, service excellent and food at L’Artichaut, superb. Would go back and recommend it to anyone staying in Lyon for a high quality boutique hotel

A beautiful building in an old abbey with its corresponding church (also beautiful) just adjacent. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Location is central and close to many restaurants and sites. Parking is a bit far from the hotel, but a short walk away, and it is possible to unload luggage right at hotel entrance, where staff will help you and there is an elevator to the rooms. One of my favorite hotels ever, and we travel a lot!

We love staying at the Hotel de l'Abbaye. It's in a perfect location and has an amazing historical background. We will stay here every time we're in Lyon.

We loved the view from the relatively large room, which is exactly as shown on the website, but didn’t like the sliding bathroom door, which wasn’t very private. There are several steps from the street to the hotel lobby (not very convenient when carrying luggage). The hotel is next to a quiet courtyard in front of a church. Someone had set up a tent there. This was the second hotel we stayed at during this trip. (We had to move hotels because the city was very crowed for the Fête des Lumières.) We preferred the location of the first hotel: in the old part of Lyon.

Personnel agréable. Chambres ok mais bruyantes, mauvaise isolation des fenêtres. Bar avec une belle carte mais ferme tôt à 22h. Pas de parking à proximité.

Très bon accueil et équipe toujours à l’écoute, souriante et désireuse de répondre au mieux à nos attentes. Même remarque pour l’équipe de ménage et la gouvernante. Les chambres sont un peu sombres, mais confortables. Remarque cependant sur le débit d’eau pas très fort dans les douches. Bravo pour les bouteilles de verre « rechargeables ». Petit manque d’information quant au fait que les chambres « élégantes » catégorie au dessus de »Écrin » ne bénéficient pas de la belle vue sur la cathédrale et du calme de la place! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Lovely stay at this hotel! Rooms were small but perfect for our one night visit. Location is slightly out of the centre but a perfect walking distance to everything you’d want to see. Located in a very calm and beautiful area. Service was professional and warm. Would definitely recommend to a friend visiting Lyon.

I chose this hotel based on certain good reviews from various websites. The hotel is cozy, and the room is nice but very small. After a long journey, I arrived at 8:30 PM, only to be unpleasantly surprised that the restaurant was closed for 10 days, with no alternative food options available. The receptionist’s attitude made it even worse—she arrogantly claimed it was mentioned on the website (which was untrue) and showed no empathy, even though I was there with my 5-year-old and unable to go far at that late hour. For such an expensive hotel, the poor service and lack of professionalism are shocking. While the location is great, it’s disappointing how little they prioritize customer care.

Came for one night for Christmas markets. The location was perfect for that - not too close, not too far. Service and the room were above expectations as well, not sure if we got a stealth upgrade or what happened. The room was MUCH bigger than it appeared in photos.

Advice for travelers to Lyon - get your restaurant reservations in advance! Walk-in tables are pretty difficult to get during busy times.

Hôtel très bien situé, parking un peu loin. Très bon restaurant, petit déjeuner correct, mais rien d’exceptionnel. Personnel très accueillant.||Déçus par la décoration de la chambre, aucun cachet alors que l’hôtel est dans un ancien presbytère du 18eme siècle. Quel dommage !
