Had a wonderful experience in this shop enjoying a wine tasting experience. The store is friendly and includes wines of various prices and variety which are not necessarily expensive at all. The gentleman who gave us the tasting was knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. We had some great wines and I learned about the region and the process and history of wine. Big recommendation.

Had a great wine tasting experience with Alex recently. He provided a delicious variety of local wines, a beautiful charcuterie of local meats, cheeses and bread, and a very interesting lesson in everything about wine! A really enjoyable afternoon and highly recommended.

Tienda especializada en vinos, mucha variedad, muy buenos vinos de la zona con buen precio, nos dió explicaciones de diferentes bodegas, añadas.. además tiene una gran variedad de vinos de otras zonas incluso conoce personalmente a muchos dueños de bodegas, me sorprendió que conociera y apreciara los vinos de mora de rubielos. Lo que demuestra que tiene un espíritu abierto en el mundo del vino.

Unglaublich netter laden! Wir sind auf der Durchreise Richtung Mittelmeerküste hier vorbei gekommen und wollten regionalen Rotwein kaufen. Die beiden (einer der Inhaber Alex und der zweite Chef … Ich habe leider seinen Namen vergessen…) haben uns sehr professionell beraten und uns zwei sehr leckere Weine angeboten, die wir dann auch genommen haben! I was very thrilled to have this fantastic wine tasting experience with Alex who has extensive knowledge spanning wine, history, geography and many more and guided me how to identify the wide range of wines via smell, texture, flavour, label, cork etc and many more unknown stories to discover my type of wines. Highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Carcassonne or want to have an unforgettable wine experience in South France!

Extraordinary wine tasting with a lot of wisdom being shared. The owner's son is really kind, adds a lot of anecdotes and just knows an incredible amount of facts about the different wines and vines. Would recommend to everyone!

And nowadays, he buys delicious cheese and bread to accompany the wine tasting. Definitely, brought the whole experience one level higher.

Called in today and met Tristram who runs the shop with his father, very knowledgeable, answered every question I had, we only covered about 12 of the hundred or so wines (I imagine) they have. Speaks French and English, accepts AMEX (a nice touch) and as I learned can ship to Europe, so if you know anyone or holiday on Europe it can be arranged. I, however, will drive so I can take a bit more home.

Fuimos a hacer una cata. Alexander nos guió durante la experiencia. Nos encantó, además de probar 8 vinos muy ricos y diferentes, nos puso unos quesos, ensalada riquísima, hummus, salchichón y aceite para acompañar. We visited asking for a wine tasting on the same day - Alex and Tristram were very accommodating and arranged it for us. Tristram was very knowledgeable and fun, and the wines we tried were delicious; a good mix of local and more unusual. We had a great time and would recommend a visit for tasting or just to buy a great bottle of wine!

Fabulous two days of wine tours in the Languedoc region with Alex. His knowledge and passion were incredible and what a fantastic advert for the region and his wines. Many, many individual tastings with wine makers who were not only welcoming but interesting and entertaining – their back stories and/or the vision added so much to the experience. Well done Alex for the choice of vineyards to visit. An added bonus was our lunch on Day 1 which was actually at Alex’s home with a meal prepared by his son (a qualified Chef) – such a treat. I (and my friends) would unreservedly recommend, Alex, his shop, and his tours to interested in wine.

Wines stored upright and not easy to find wines thought to be in stock. In reply to the owner: We did ask for help and it was you who didn't know what was stocked in the celler at the time. We were searching for a newer vintage that the winery said you should be able to sell us. This was our first visit to your shop and your reply tells me don't bother coming back.

I was looking for wine tasting places in Carcassonne and found the sign of it here outside, but unfortunately needed to book in advance. I wish I could have done their wine tasting (45 EUR). However the guy working there is kind enough to explain about the wines from the regions. I got a nice bottle of wine about 10 EUR recommended by him. It's so tasty. I highly recommend to go there to get a nice bottle of wine:)
