The pastries were exquisite and the Gordon Ramsey take on a burger the French style was very good although maybe a bit rich.
Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired at this price point. While the staff was overall friendly, we had long wait times between drinks where we pondered standing up and refilling our bottle ourselves, we had a hard time calling the staff in for questions and we were not given clear indications when something was part of the course or an extra charge (like with a 12 euro per person infusion at the end).
Perhaps most importantly, we had a benefit from the hotel to visit the kitchen and meet the chef that was not honored. We gave the card to the server at the start, which he acknowledged then, but then he tried to pretend we had not given it to him by the end of the meal. No effort was made to rectify or make up for this. It made it feel like we got less than what we paid for, and the intent to gaslight just makes things worse.
At a different price point, this can be forgiven, not at ~300 euro per person though.
