Cercavamo un esperienza da portarci con noi come ultima sera a Parigi ed è stata molto deludente… locale di forse parigino ma rimasto agli anni 60 in malo modo, cibo abbastanza scadente, abbiamo ordinato un piatto tipico, controfiletto con funghi e patatine a forno, ma sapeva di agnello oltre al fatto di averci servito per due mezzo chilo di patatine fritte e carne buttata in un vassoio… il proprietario per niente accogliente e scorbutico con il personale.

Un vrai voyage gastronomique. Le canard aux pruneaux et les oeufs a la neige sont à tomber. Produits et cuisine de qualité.

Et surtout du personnel au soin de ses clients.

Pour un repas basé sur une bonne cuisine française, goûteuse, copieuse et délicatement préparée, il y a peu d'endroit à Paris comparables au Trumilou. Ignorez ceux qui parlent de plats trop classiques et laissez vous tenter par l'ambiance de ce restaurant où vous partagerez de bons moments entre amis autour de mets savoureux, accompagnés de vins choisis .

FOOD NOT FIT FOR A DOG. One
of my favorite Paris restaurants for over 3 decades That was in the past The rib steak was inedible Could have been used for shoe Leather bottom First time ever sending a dish back in Paris Manager was nasty which made it worse Could not cut meat with steak knife No apologies were given
Just dirty looks by male manager Received a tenderloin that was slightly better but still very tough

Dear Larry,

Loyal customer for 30 years, you must already know that our restaurant is run by the same family since 1986! You might not have met the grandfather, but you definitely know the daughter and her husband, and you’ve now met the next generation of the family too: the great granddaughter is the very nice waitress.

We are saddened to read your hostile comment despite the team apologizing for the inconvenience. It seems that there has been a misunderstanding, the manager that you’re referring to simply doesn't speak English. We are sorry to hear that his incomprehension was interpreted as nastiness (he’s been in the team for over 20 years).

Thank you for noting that our team immediately replaced the dish. We are indeed very attentive to our customers and we have applied demanding quality standards since 1986.

We would be delighted to see you again at the Trumilou and taste our 100% homemade traditional French cuisine (and enjoy the view on Notre-Dame, obviously).

Menu à 20€ à Paris un dimanche soir, c'est top : salade de poulpe et rognons de veau, un régal. Personnel accueillant et aux petits soins.

Nos gustó mucho, comida francesa en ambiente frances. Sopa de cebolla y el pato increible, tambien un plato de berengenas y otras verduras a la plancha muy bueno. De postre la creme brulé, expectacular.

Hace 25 años que voy a ese restaurante. Es un sitio fabuloso para comer comida tradicional francesa, con un sabor del París de siempre. Hay platos de casquería para el que le gusten que ya no se encuentran en otros lados, y otros típicos como el steak tartar o el canard aux pruneaux (pato con ciruelas) que los hacen exquisitos. Cuando viví en París iba con frecuencia y ahora lo hago cada vez que estoy en la ciudad. He visto que están cambiando la vajilla de siempre para presentar algunos platos, espero que no desaparezca el plato de siempre (Ver foto).
Lo he recomendado muchísimo y he llevado a gente y siempre ha gustado mucho y la gente vuelve. Para mí un indispensable en París al que ya me unen muchos lazos emocionales.

A nice bistro serving French classics on the Seine. 10/10 French onion soup and great oeuf mayonnaise as well.

We got the duck in prune sauce and sweetbreads as entrees. While interesting, both were overcooked pretty heavily, which made them just okay. The flavors were there but needed less time cooking.

The desserts were absolutely outstanding. Breathtaking profiteroles with chocolate sauce, and the best creme brulee I've ever had and probably will ever have.

Highly recommend this lovely restaurant for the fabulous food and great service. We hadn't booked (mid week early evening 7.30pm ) for our party of 5 , it was busy (locals mainly) but a table was quickly found. All of our food was delicious. Esp Nice touch was the surprise dessert served to celebrate our friends birthday, thank you.

Very nice restaurant near Notre Dame. The food was absolutely delicious, the waiter friendly and professional. The price wasn't too high for the quality, I definitely recommend this place.

The only part I didn't like about it was the bathroom, as it was pretty narrow for me!

Restaurant trouvé par hasard, nous recherchions un restaurant typiquement français et nous n'avons pas été déçus! Les plats étaient excellents, le rapport qualité/prix est très correct pour un restaurant avec vu sur Notre-Dame ! Les serveurs sont très sympathiques et arrangeants !
Merci pour cette soirée, nous retenons l'adresse pour nos prochaines soirées sur Paris !

Excellente trouvaille. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon. Service très sympathique, celui qui nous a servi a fait un effort pour nous parler en anglais. Les plats sont arrivés très rapidement, même si c'est probablement parce que nous ne sommes pas arrivés à l'heure de pointe pour le dîner. L'endroit est très simple et confortable. Nous le répéterons certainement.
