Really bad experience; due to traffic we called and informed we would be late, with positive response. When we came there the table was given to someone else, and the only solution was to sit alone in a separate room..

Our favorite restaurant in Paris, and it's still amazing! My husband and I ate here twice on a trip 25 years ago, we've sent friends there throughout the years, and we just had a chance to visit with our college-age kids, and it's been fantastic every time. It's French country food, very authentic, unpretentious, and so delicious. The fries were PERFECT, the duck with prunes, chicken with brut cider sauce, sweetbread casserole, and fish of the day were all spectacular. For dessert, we got Profiteroles (so good!), and "Oeufs a la Neige & Custard", or poached Meringues on a Custard sauce, which we ordered hesitantly (I'm not always a fan of meringues), and it ended up being the best dessert I've ever had. Seriously. It was amazing. The wines were good, even the fresh bread they served before dinner was better than most restaurants. And did I mention that it's not expensive?I love this place and recommend it to everyone.

Face à la cathédrale de Notre Dame, ce restaurant nous plonge dans le charme authentique du vieux paris. L'ambiance est très chaleureuse, la cuisine excellente, et les prix tout à fait abordables. C'est vraiment une très bonne adresse ! Je recommande.

Le Trumilou est le lieu idéal pour un événement spécial. L'ambiance, le service et la cuisine étaient vraiment exceptionnels. Nous avons été accueillis dans une salle privée magnifiquement décorée, parfaite pour recevoir un grand groupe. Le menu à la carte offrait un large choix de plats délicieux, satisfaisant tous les invités. Je suis extrêmement reconnaissant envers l'équipe pour leur hospitalité chaleureuse et leur service remarquable, rendant cette soirée inoubliable.

Un grand merci à Gregory, le directeur, qui a été flexible, aimable et attentionné tout au long de l'événement. J'ai hâte d'organiser encore de nombreux dîners festifs ici à l'avenir. À très bientôt !

Went on a recommendation from a friend, the staff is very friendly and helpful, service was quick. The food was delicious, and the portions are bigger than average. Very nice cost-benefit.
Try the duck and the escargot.

A completely classic and wonderful French restaurant The interior design, tables and dishes were all perfect, a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy wonderful French cuisine. The treatment of the staff was excellent and professional.

En tant que haut connaisseur des plats typiquement auvergnats nous avons été plutôt satisfait des plats et de la qualité des produits. Il manquais peut être à la carte la fameuse truffade mais mis à part ceci c’était très correct.

Quintessential traditional French restaurant. Time has stood still here. You could be sitting in 1970. Perfect! Food is classical simple French style rich and flavoursome. Need to turn the heater up a bit though.

I have to say that the service in this restaurant was excellent. However, my husband ordered the duck, and it was probably the worst duck we had this trip. My vegetable gratin was fine.
