Fabulous, newly renovated hotel. Clean, clean, clean. Amaaaazing staff (shout-out to the young man at breakfast, Jules, for going above & beyond & paying SO MUCH attention to detail). Breakfast is GREAT, staff are simply wonderful. Price reasonable. Oh and the rooms are very well lit - which i love.

Hotel location was excellent, very central to main attractions and transportation. The hotel was extremely clean and well serviced, I highly recommend this hotel!!

Excellent location, it really couldn't be better.||I also got brilliant recommendations from the staff, for local restaurants. The staff had contacted me asking if there was anything I needed Castleford I arived, brilliant service. Well worth getting the information from the hotel staff.

Lovely small hotel with excellent staff in a central location. Recently renovated, the rooms and shared spaces are freshly decorated and a pleasure to be in.
The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and patient, and always responsive to requests. Hôtel Majestic is very close to both the Grand Theatre and the Quinconces transport hub. It’s easy to get around, by foot or by tram.
Appreciated the coffee machine in my room; canelles at reception, and help from staff getting my bike in and out of the bike room.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location close to Quinconces transport interchange (but everywhere in Bordeaux centre is pretty easily walkable).||||Lovely suite (501) high above the rooves. Plenty of space. Three separate areas, bedroom, lounge/sitting area, dressing area, plus good sized bathroom. Only slight negative (as reported by others) is that the separate toilet down a short corridor from the bathroom doesn’t have a washbasin.||||Breakfast of good quality, frequently refreshed, but not necessarily the all singing choices you might get at a bigger hotel.

We could not fault this hotel in any way. The location is superb and it is considerably cheaper than the Grand around the corner. All staff were very helpful and professional and spoke excellent English. We thought when booking that breakfast at 18 euros per person was expensive until we found that the local cafes charge exactly the same for less. ||It is just around the corner from the principal tourist office from where all tours start. Also a short walk from the best restaurant in Bordeaux, Le Bouchon de Bordelais. ||Like the previous reviewer, we also were caught out by the taxi and train strike but the front desk staff kept us fully informed and found a private taxi for us so we were not inconvenienced at all. ||Just one thing, which is not in the control of the hotel, the street pavements outside are quite uneven with broken and missing paving stones. Watch your step!

This hotel got everything right. From the professional and available staffing, to the layout and decor, it was absolutely wonderful. On top of that, the location steps from the main square and tram was unbeatable.

5 star because they care about every aspect of the guest experience. Attention to detail, fresh and delicious breakfast included! A rarity! Sadly they didn’t tell us about the taxi strike - that ruined our departure! But this hotel is superb!

Hotel acogedor y muy bien ubicado, para visitar andando la bonita ciudad de Bordeaux. Parada del tranvía muy cerca. El servicio excelente, en especial María de Recepción, una gran profesional y con una gran simpatía quien nos informó sobre todo lo que necesitamos. Hotel pequeño, trato familiar. Ha cumplido nuestras expectativas, sin duda volveríamos.

Hotel Majestic was het begin van onze fietsvakantie naar Toulouse. De kamer was prima uitgerust. Goede bedden ook. Het ontbijtbuffet was heel uitgebreid en heel smakelijk. Maar vooral de dienstverlening was geweldig. We hadden een probleem met één van de fietsen en zij probeerden ons zoveel mogelijk te helpen. Dat had een positief resultaat. Ze waren erg betrokken en geduldig. En we kregen ook leuke uit-eten tips!

Comfortable room, good ac through the recent heat wave, very nice breakfasts. It is somewhat concerning though that you can ask for a room key from a staff member you've never met before and they just turn it over.
