This hotel has its pros and cons, making it an average option. On the positive side, it’s conveniently located in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, museums, and the Mieradeck shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.||However, there are a few drawbacks. The air conditioning is advertised, but it’s not very effective. The temperature fluctuates between 22-24 degrees, which is uncomfortable for those accustomed to sleeping in cooler temperatures. This made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. Additionally, the laundry facilities are limited, with only two washers and one dryer, which may not be practical for larger families. Lastly, depending on your upstairs neighbors, the thin walls can make it sound like they’re moving furniture early in the morning.

Very spacious with good facilities including kitchen, clean bathroom. The location is no in the city centre but with a ok distance to main sites by walking

Chambre/appart. spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Accueil chaleureux de l'accueil. Tout y est pour un bon séjour. Un seul point à relever, les chambres commencent à dater.

L'hôtel est très très bien placé. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et toujours avec le sourire. Les chambres sont top, il y a de l'espace et une belle salle de bain. Je conseille car belles prestations. En plus juste à côté il y a 2 bon restaurant dont le naïnaï.

The room was a good size ... a couple could easily stay there (not always the case these days!).

The location is excellent, walkable to most of Bordeaux's centre-ville sites and close to tram and bus lines for those further away. Lots of cafes and restaurants on Place Gambetta and the nearby streets.

However, the hotel has a no maid service, no fresh towels policy (towels are available for a fee, which is ridiculous in my view). I know that this is a "first world problem" (and an advantage of a hotel over an AirBNB) but one of the pleasures of a hotel stay is getting the bed made, fresh towels if necessary, etc. Also, the WiFi did not work on the night I checked in. It got fixed later, but that is obviously a huge problem these days.

Finally, the breakfast was expensive so I did not get it (good French coffee and croissants available all over for way less than 15 euros!).
