Merci.
The dishes on the menu were all interesting -- making choosing one's meal a bit of a challenge. I went with a zucchini puree (served as a thick soup) with goat cheese and marinated cherries. Delightful!
I continued with the chef's signature dish -- perfectly cooked pork belly (not fatty) with octopus and a puree of chickpeas. Delicious.
Dessert was a deconstructed dish of flakes of crispy puff pastry with vanilla cream and caramel. Again, a success.
Hat's off to the kitchen -- not only were the dishes inventively conceived, they were executed perfectly.
I'm glad we dined at Restaurant 585. I'd happily come back.
