Very good sanguette and entrecôte grilled on wood fire, helpful staff with detailed advice. Somewhat rustic setting with dangerously located deep stairs in the dining area

Но, увы, столик достался у входа в заведение, где было достаточно холодно.
Блюда в основном мясные, но удалось найти и рыбное блюдо.

Great food, specialising in local produce. The meat dishes were particularly good. Generous servings. Great wine list, again with a focus on the amazing local wines. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Order the Lamb! I’ve ordered the filllet. It was excellent, but the table nexte to us ordered the lamb and I wished I’d done it too.

In other words: you cannot go wrong there!,

Service was also very good. Fast and friendly. The pomerol wine Plaisir Siaurac would be another recommendation.

And don’t miss the old Armagnac collection. Not cheap but worth it!,

La Tupina never disappoints! The venue inside is cosy and authentic and the terrace seating is relaxed and elegant. The team are always warm, professional and very accommodating. This time, we had a bottle of wine and 2 perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned chateaubriand beef fillets. Best frites in France also. We can’t wait to go back!

What an incredible meal that will long live in our memories. Despite preview reviews discarding the fish, we ordered it as a main and it was likely the best fish main we have ever had. Steak - delicious. Duck fat chips - to die for. Canele and creme brûlée dessert - sensational.

Plan a visit for sure, and make reservations. Very good French food that you're unlikely to find elsewhere. I had the chicken, my wife had the beef - both were great (especially the beef). The fries were to die for. Price was reasonable for the food and service.

Restaurant typiquement français dans un cadre rustique où proposent des spécialités bien specifiques de la cuisine du sudouest comme a lamproie à la bordelaise. On a très bien mangé, malgré l'artichaut qui était vraiment sec, impossible à bien profiter du coeur, la lamproie était surprenante et le magret magnifiquement executé. Le personnel est attentif et chalereux, aux petits soins du client

Unbelievable experience at La Tupina.

A hedonistic experience to say the least. Amazing selection of meats cooked over open fire. Frites cooked in duck fat. Not a meal for the faint of heart to be sure. There is a fish option but with stunning selection of Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Sweetbreads why would you? Have a different meal for fish. Really.

Everything was executed to perfection and after a week in Bordeaux this was the greatest meal of the whole week. The kitchen had no misses.

Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bordeaux and it is now on my "must visit" list for next time.

Overrated for the quality of the food, you can find much better in the Bordeaux region for less. You are cramped as much that you can smell your neighbours underharm. Very loud atmosphere don’t bring your date there not a romantic place at all.

Went in hungry, left very full. Had zero expectations but it had a special old school vibe. The decor, the open fire, the duck fat, the snacks, the main course...all so wholesome and moody. I loved it. Expect meat. If you are in Bordeaux, this is definitely a MUST try place.

Un restaurant extraordinaire, avec une cuisine authentique et typique, dans un cadre très accueillant. Le bœuf était très tendre et délicieux. Les frites sont les meilleures que j’ai jamais mangées. Un grand choix de vins et d’alcools. Le château Doms (Graves) était parfait avec le bœuf. Hautement recommandé.
