Einfach wunderbar. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Unbedingt besuchen! Dieses Bistro wird von einem sehr herzlichen Ehepaar betrieben. Essen top ebenso wie die Weine.

Nous avons passé un moment absolument extraordinaire dans cette cave à vin ! L’accueil des propriétaires a été d’une chaleur et d’une générosité rares. Passionnés, disponibles et authentiques, ils nous ont fait découvrir leurs vins avec enthousiasme et simplicité. La visite s’est transformée en un véritable moment de partage, ponctué d’anecdotes, de rires et de belles découvertes.
Une expérience humaine inoubliable. Un immense merci – nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! A bientôt en Suisse !

Althought there are many wine shops in Bordeaux only Le Comptoir Epicerie Saint Andre has Cedric and Maria. Not only are they two of the most knowledgeable proprietors you could meet, but more importantly they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and get to know. Walking into their shop is like walking into a home filled with wines and cheeses. After stopping in to pick up a few bottles of wine and some cheese, two hours later (with a trip down to Cedric's wine cellar) we had everything we needed; excellent wine, wonderful cheeses, but more importantly new friends.

No trip to Bordeaux would be complete without stopping by Le Comptoir Epicerie Saint Andre and seeing Cedric and Maria.

Lovely family run restaurant. We were treated like family and had special meals made just for us - plus the extra bread and cheese to try. The black pudding was delightful and the leek risotto was on point! It was also adorable listening to young Paul on the table next to us doing his reading homework. Would 100% recommend and will endeavour to come back again. :-)

Absolute gem. The cellar (make sure you visit!) has some fantastic wines and great atmosphere, great cheese and meats and Cedric and Maria are amazing hosts with loads of wine knowledge - what else to want!

Ήταν μια μοναδική εμπειρία γεύσεων! Πολύ ωραία γαλλικά τυρια αλλά και τα κυρίως πιάτα ήταν εξαιρετικά.Δοκιμάσαμε ποικιλία κρασιων σε ποτήρι αλλά αυτό που ήταν πραγματικά μοναδικό ήταν η συμπεριφορά του προσωπικού: εξυπηρετικοί, ευγενικοί, φιλόξενοι, υπέροχοι.! Το μυστικό κελάρι τους μας εξέπληξε ευχάριστα! Σίγουρα έκανε καλύτερη την επίσκεψη μας στην πόλη! Ευχαριστούμε.

Une belle surprise dans un quartier avec peu d'offres de restauration. Une cantine de quartier délicieuse. Il ne faut pas hésiter à pousser la porte.

Une superbe adresse pour passer un très bon moment ! Les plats sont faits maison avec des produits de qualité, un vrai régal. L'épicerie propose également d'excellents produits et de très bons vins. Cédric et sa femme sont chaleureux et accueillants, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement !

Accueil chaleureux, plats délicieux et copieux, on s’y sent bien et on y revient !
Bonne adresse pour trouver une bouteille quel que soit son budget … et quelle cave, on trouve forcément sa pépite.
Je recommande sans hésiter.

Un accueil bien sympathique par le patron qui nous a trouvé une p'tite place pour déjeuner.
Peu d'attente grace au dynamisme du patron et du serveur. Les plats sont super copieux... et de qualité !
Le resto est aussi une épicerie pour les plats et desserts faits maison.

A hidden champion in Bordeaux. Amazing food - starters + main dish were great. The wine we chose downstairs was also magnificent. The owner suggested us a nice bottle of sparkling wine, of which we bought another bottle for the next dinner at home. The service was perfect - we had a lovely chat with the owners during our stay. Would recommend it to everyone who looks for high quality good + guest orientated service + eye catching interior. Thank you - we will come back.

Had a great afternoon charcuterie and cheese board here, accompanied by some great wines. Super friendly owners, they were great chatting to us, especially as we only spoke English! Make sure you check out their cellar downstairs, great local wines.

Amazing charcuterie and cheese board with wine! This is a very friendly family business and they still served us despite coming a bit late. Plenty of locals bought wine, charcuterie or cheese to bring home. Definitely come here if you can't squeeze in a wine tour to the outer Bordeaux regions.

If we stayed in Bordeaux for a week instead of practically 2 days we would've returned ????

De loin: fromages et vins, j'yvais. Devant la vitrine: on ne voit pas de table, des plats à emporter, c'est un restau? j'hésite. Et puis je rentre: accueil parfait, une table libre parmi la petite vingtaine de places dont dispose le restaurant. Les plats à emporter semblent effectivement être une partie importante de l'activité, j'emporterai d'ailleurs 2 morceaux de tarte pour mon 4 heures, elles me faisaient de l'œil et je n'ai pas su résister. Les prix sont dans la moyenne un peu haute, mais en prenant le plat du jour (il y en a plusieurs) on a une qualité parfaite, une quantité suffisant pour un prix très correct. Mon risotto était délicieux. Ma femme à trouvé sa salade au saumon fumée un peu juste. La planche de charcuterie qu'on c'est partagée en entrée était très bonne et suffisante. Tous les plats sont visiblement faits maison. Grand choix de vins
