On the positive side, the food was well-executed and beautifully presented. The dishes were technically refined and flavorful. However, the timing of the courses was unacceptable. There was a 40-minute gap between the second and third course (the main courses), which completely broke the rhythm of the meal and diminished the overall experience. All other plates were also coming with a lot of delay but not as much as this one. We stayed there for 3.5 hrs due to these delays, hence we got very tired and really wanted to leave after the 2.5 hrs.
Service was, frankly, very basic (they were not synchronized and they didnt explained well the courses, they even brought two plates wrong and took them back). At one point, we were taken to a separate room to be served a soup and — as we were told — to have a brief moment with the chef, where we could ask questions and interact. However, once the chef arrived and realized we spoke English and not French, he didn’t say anything, and left immediately, which was both rude and disheartening.
In summary, despite the quality of the food, the overall experience was not worthy of two Michelin stars. If service and organization are not improved significantly, it's hard to see how this restaurant will maintain its standing in the world of fine dining.
