Service déplorable.
Serveuse non aimable.
Banane ???? du déssert pas bonne.impossibke de la changer????????
Impossible de faire un geste pour le client pour adapter la formule café au lieu du thé ????
Restaurant à fuir.
Autant jetter son argent par la fenêtre.

Excellente cuisine. Service sympa et pro. Je vous recommande de goûter le roti de boeuf avec sa mayo qui est à tomber !! Le fondant au chocolat noir et le cookie valent aussi le coup !

Je n'ai jamais mangé sur place mais le lieu est une ancienne église.
Il y a donc une atmosphère particulière et une ambiance aux énergies intense

Serveuse désagréable au possible. Attente interminable pour 3 cafés. Mon amie a été obligée d'aller les commander à l'intérieur. Chaises à changer car l'une d'entre elle a déchiré mon pantalon à l'arrière. La serveuse n'en avait visiblement rien à faire. Aucun geste commercial et en plus elle nous a lancé une réflexion en partant. Inadmissible. A fuir absolument !!!!!

Most unpleasant experience here this morning.
Looking for somewhere in the early spring sunshine to have a coffee and check my emails I saw this café across the Square
There were QR codes on the table, but when I asked a tall young waiter, he said with no bonjour and no smile “ no, you order from me”
Now my French is pretty good - to the extent I am asked where do I get my charming accent rather than “oh you must be English” but he was so grumpy and mumbled that I had to ask twice if they had any pastries and I then managed to order a coffee, a chocolatine (as a pain au chocolat is known in the south of France) and a glass of water.
He brought the coffee and the pastry, but forgot the water.
Coffee was passable, but the pastry arrived in a basket with not even a paper serviette.
When he brought the water, he demanded payment immediately and again no smile, no thank you
Five minutes later, he proceeded to sit on a nearby table to take his break and watch videos on his phone with the sound up loudly.
Now I would not have been happy with this if a customer had done this on a table nearby let alone a member of staff but when I indicated this to one of his co-workers, they said “he’s on break and he can do what he likes” and then a second member of staff told me I can leave if I want
Outstanding behaviour from three people in a service industry who obviously had no idea what the word “service” means.
It put me in a really bad mood which is unusual in a city I love and I realised for the first time that it made me feel like I was in a café in Paris ????
Of course I stayed and finished my time in the sunshine and as I left another member of the grumpy staff was having their break so I told them to have a nice day and to start smiling !
Bordeaux gives the impression of having hundreds if not thousands of cafés so this one is to be avoided at all costs until the staff understand how to do their jobs properly and maybe get a bit of joy out of life.
