Tourist trap. Extremely expensive (160€ / kg) mediocre meat, bad grilling. But good service :)

Japanske biffen var himmelsk. Skulle ønske det var mulig å få smakstestet litt av alt og ikke påtvunget stykke på 900 gram. Ble litt for mye av en smak da vi to ikke likte det kjøttet så godt.

We were there only for stake tartare- which was really good btw- and couple of glasses wine, however the staff was almost mad that we didn't have main courses. I would like to go there again and try one of the steaks, but with that staff, i wouldn't go near that place ever again

This place looks medieval with huge stone brick walls and sparce decor. Beautiful wooden tables and chairs. Plank flooring. Full view of the kitchen where they make the most delicious foods! One waitresses, Caroline, was fluent in English and did a great job explaining the different types of meat and the different cuts of meat! You would be surprised how much detail goes into this place!
I had 900 g beef and my wife had 500 g beef because we like it cooked differently. Honestly, we could've gotten the 900 g and had them cut it into pieces that could be cooked rare for me and medium well for her. Neither of us could eat all of our food and we have a doggy bag to go!
This was easily the best meal we had in Bordeaux! I wish we had found this place earlier.

Fabulous experience! Most delicious steak we've ever had in France! We were shocked, there were no line at the door! Hidden gem- highly highly recommend, must try when in Bordeaux!
