I gave the restaurant and service one star only because I couldn’t give it zero. We all know places that rely solely on their location and view to coast by on mediocrity, but this is much, much worse. Le 7 feels like they are actively choosing to single-handedly solve the problem of over-tourism by providing not just indifferent service, but active hostility and loathing. And that’s to say nothing of the food which is an all-out insult to French gastronomy. There does not seem to be an actual kitchen, but pre-prepares meals that are warmed up in a microwave. How else could you explain having our group of six send multiple plates back barely touched and not a sole noticing or bothering to ask what was wrong. I have had better prepared Asparagus on an airline. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. You can find a good view in many other places, and in Bordeaux you can find a great meal in a myriad of places. But in Le 7 you will only find regret.

Extremely disappointing experience - food was poor and service was even worse.
Our mains took 45 minutes to arrive and three of the fish dishes were extremely undercooked, the centre was raw like sashimi and even slightly slimy. We informed the waiter and without even inspecting the fish he proceeded to tell us that this is how the fish is supposed to be cooked - wtf? This waiter was terrible, felt like he was implying that we don’t know how to eat fish lol but we’ve been to many high end restaurants and I can tell you this fish was RAW. It would be acceptable if it was sashimi or tataki but this was supposed to be a cooked fillet of fish.
Anyway we sent it back to the kitchen and the chef came out to apologise and admitted the fish was undercooked so he cooked new serves for us and waived the charges. Appreciated this apology and compensation (hence the two stars instead of one star), but still overall a very poor experience.
The other dishes we ordered were also not great, my mum’s ratatouille was served cold and I didn’t enjoy the lamb. For the price and atmosphere we expect a lot better.

90 minute wait for mains which is unacceptable considering we were only one of maybe 15 parties eating lunch.
3 out of 4 of our fish mains were raw. When we brought it up with the wait staff we were told “this is just how it’s cooked in France”
He didn’t even look at the cook of the fish, and kept trying to gaslight us into believing I said well if this is the way you cook it why is one dish clearly cooked, and the other 3 raw and a different temperature?
Ratatouille main served cold, was told it’s meant to be cold.
Tuna starter dish was good though.

3 out of 4 Fish dishes were served raw inside, only 1 of them was cooked to softly to perfection. Waiter claimed “raw” was the usual way it was served but clearly not. Very arrogant waiter

Seulement, en 2025, pour de la bistronomie, les proportions dans l’assiette sont ici exagérément légères compte tenu du prix demandé. Sans chercher à surmanger, nous avons pris un suprême de volaille à 36€ dont la quantité était équivalente au plat du menu enfant (suprême de volaille également).
Il faut faire un bon entre-deux entre dégustation pour le client et ultra-rentabilité des produits pour l’entreprise.
Décevant sur ce point.
