Excellent! Tout était bien l'accueil le service la propreté. L'emplacement avec parking et le marché du samedi matin. On recommande les yeux fermés...

NAME

Hotel Rodin

LOCATION

Bazas centre, our first visit. Easy to find.

A beautiful cathedral in a very pleasant square walking distance from the hotel.. Typical shops, restaurants, cafes,

Due to the parade the Square was set up with food stalls, prices NOT inflated

A larger town than we expected,  Super U supermarket on the outskirts,

Lidl and other shops on the way in to the centre

PARKING

None at the Hotel but a public car park within walking distance.

Drop off of luggage possible

WELCOME

5 star welcome, help with cases, taken to the room we had booked, detailed explanation of room facilities fridge, microwave,  kettle, TV etc

OVERALL APPEARANCE

Semicircle steps up to the main door.

The hotel has been almost completely renovated to a high standard, there is a guest room close to reception.  Very pleasant.

ROOM

A well equipped double room overlooking the main road to the centre,  superb opening windows with excellent soundproofing, we had requested this room for its view of the parade of Bazas cattle,  ladies and children in local costumes, stilt walkers in shepherd's clothing,  to the town centre.

It also had a settee bed if you were a group of people.

Good facilities: tea & coffee making facilities,  microwave,  sink, fridge etc.

BATHROOM

Beautiful large shower, spotless.

FOOD OFFERING

Our host had booked, for us, a specialist local restaurant well known for its use of the Bazas beef.

Breakfast was offered. In a large Breakfast room it was very pleasant.

DEPARTURE

Simple procedure,

We were allowed to stay longer in the room to watch the parade,  which was good fun.

OVERALL

5 STAR Well worth staying here, a lovely  friendly host.

L’hôtel Rodin est tres bien placé dans Bazas, il y a un parking public gratuit juste devant. Les chambres sont bien équipées, la literie est très confortable. L’équipe de l’hôtel a été très flexible pour les horaires d’arrivée et de départ. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Un hôtel avec 6 chambres avec des propriétaires (Fenella & Peter) et un personnel (Christina) exceptionnels.
Les chambres sont toutes différentes et cosy à souhait---- décorées avec gout.
Tout le monde vous chouchoute dès votre arrivée.

Cet hôtel mérite nos 5 étoiles ***** ----- Gros Coup de coeur ! Une vraie découverte.
