This place is a secret jewel in French secrecy. Please take time to come put of your way and try their restaurant. It also has hotel rooms worthy of an ibiza ushuiia feel!! Highly recommended. Amazing owners and staff too for all events. Update in October 2022: still amazing.

On a family trip, our local guide Jennifer suggested we make a reservation at Le Jardin de Chouchoux. After a number of dining experiences with 8 adults and 2 children on this trip the space and accommodations for this dinner were exceptional. Julien and Angelique are so engaging, kind, welcoming and pleasant. They introduced their daughter to our table which demonstrated their understanding of family and let us know they were welcome to play around the table as we ate.
The food was divine and exemplified the wisdom and attention to detail the owners have for their food. They have cultivated an incredible balance between a sophisticated dining experience and a warm family meal. This is especially impressive as the couple alone executed all of the Front of House responsibilities including hosting, serving, sommelier, bussing, food running etc. It was a dinner that we will not forget.

En week-end familial (6 adultes et deux enfants) dans le Périgord nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur et professionnalisme par Julien et Angélique qui ont été aux petits soins avec nous durant tout le séjour. Chambres calmes, confortables et décorées avec goût, piscine pour se rafraîchir et terrasse fleurie pour passer un moment gourmand avec une carte réduite mais de qualité ainsi que d’excellents vins et produits régionaux. Nos hôtes nous ont également très bien conseillé dans les activités à faire alentours. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus !!
