Bof expérience assez médiocre, présence de bêtes de toutes sortes dans les chambres non signalées avant la réservation, chat errant qui s'invite dans la suite. Propreté douteuse, mauvaise qualité de WIFI, nous avons quitté la chambre au bout d'une heure, pour un autre hôtel. Celle qui semble être la "gérante" si on peut l'appeler de cette manière, est une dame très aigris, aucun sens du service client, aucun professionnalisme, de l'accueil à la restitution de la chambre 1hr après. Très mauvaise expérience pour 400e la nuit, vous avez beaucoup mieux sur l'île avec une meilleure expérience client.

Magnifique endroit très intimiste et chaleureux. La vue est sublime, au bord du lagon très apaisant. C’est une parenthèse enchantée hors du temps..Nous avions la suite Lokelani, à la déco superbe et aux équipements haut de gamme. Nous avions une cuisine à disposition dans notre suite avec les éléments de base, tous de très bon goût. La salle de bain est très grande et parfaitement équipée, très agréable. On est noyé dans la végétation luxuriante, alors oui c’est un peu sombre à l’intérieur mais difficile de faire autrement en étant au cœur de cette nature végétale, et c’est même reposant quand le soleil tape fort. La terrasse est superbe, au bord de l’eau ou l’on voit poissons et raies se balader. Clotilde nous a gentiment permis d’accueillir une amie et sa fille pour passer un moment avec nous et prendre un cocktail dans un des adorables salons communs. Nous avons passé 3 jours parfaits et regrettons de ne pas y être resté plus longtemps… il nous faudra y revenir !

La situation est splendide, l'établissement vous fait vous sentir en pleine nature mais dans le confort. L'ensemble est agencé dans la nature ou le luxe se mêle aux végétaux. En prime chaque suite est unique dans son décor et sa localisation ????...
Et pour finir une mention spéciale à tout et je dis bien tout le personnel qui a été gentil et bienveillant.
On voit que la responsable des lieux connaît bien l'architecture !!!
Vous pouvez donc y aller les yeux fermés... Je plaisante laissez les bien ouverts pour admirer ????❤️

???? Molo na konci? Východy, západy slunce, žraloci černocípí a rejnoci připlouvající za večerů až k hotelu.
???? Kouzelný dekor + klid neméně kouzelné laguny “by se mohly” = kousku ráje na Mooree.
????️ V době naší návštěvy snídaně servírovaná na terase pokoje – ale ceny v podstatě za každý krajíc. Přitom krásné lounge prostory - ale jako by bez života - přitom tak zvaly ke společnému gastro zážitku.
???? Zpoplatněné šnorchlovací vybavení na takovém místě? Opravdu škoda . . . .
Interiér? Neopakovatelný.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and this place was absolutely amazing! It is a truly unique and original place with a lot of soul. Everything looks like somebody with an artistic eye spent careful time on it, down to the smallest details. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. ||We stayed in the Prestige Overwater Suite, so we had a bungalow for our bedroom, a separate private bungalow for our bathroom, and the two are connected by a covered kitchen/seating area. What a cool experience it was to wake up in the morning, make some breakfast and coffee in our separate kitchen (you can also order breakfast from them if you want to), and then sit on the private deck and watch the sun rise. And of course, a drink on the deck as the sun sets was a must-do every evening as well. ||I will say that part of the "realness" of this resort is that nature has not been sterilized out of it, so there were mosquitos and geckos. It wasn't much of a problem for us, but if somebody was very sensitive about those sorts of things, they might have a bit of a hard time. ||There was also a cat that graced us with her presence periodically throughout each day, so we felt like we had a pet for our stay. We kind of miss the cat now.

Magnifique hôtel, très naturel. Nous avons particulièrement aimer le ponton de l’hôtel très agréable et calme. Il est bien d’avoir un scooter pour pouvoir se déplacer autour de l’hôtel (qui se trouve à la fin d’un petit lotissement). Dommage que les paddles/kayak soit à louer en plus.

What a wonderful experience we had! Right on the water, watching the rays and sharks swim by in the early evening. A lovely tropical cocktail at the bar and easy access to all the island offers. Hospitality off the charts and my high school French was a great asset.

This hotel was amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us. Wish we could have stayed the week. Very peaceful location. Loved sitting looking at the lagoon- watching the sunset and the moon rise over the mountains. Perfection all around. |Thank you for our wonderful stay.|Appreciated your help with our rental car problems. We hope to come back and stay longer.

Décoré avec énormément de goût Eileen a fait de cet endroit une pure merveille. De magnifiques plantations, des bassins peuplés de carpes, un ponton avec de confortables lits de plage, des salons en bord de lagon, d’autres a l’abri du soleil, cet hôtel est unique. A aucun moment on se rend compte qu’il,y a 9 chambres tellement l’agencement est bien pensé. Nous avons eu la chance d’être les premiers occupants de la nouvelle suite de ce superbe hôtel. Les deux salons, le superbe mur végétal, la somptueuse salle de bain avec ses doubles vasques nous ont ravis. Le lit extrêmement confortable n’a fait que rendre inoubliable notre séjour chez Eileen. || Un très bon restaurant est juste à côté ainsi qu’une épicerie qui vend de très bons plats à emporter

Polynesian Paradise personified. Every detail to make your stay perfect has been attended too. The stroll through the foliage to get to the front desk transports you out of the everyday world and truly into a Polynesian Paradise.
A welcome cocktail in hand while you are shown all of the amenities of the grounds and room was such a wonderful touch.
The lounge, deck and grounds are amazing. The art and statuary make you feel as if you are in a cultural museum. There are little hidden treasures everywhere!
Breakfast, including fresh tropical fruit, served in your room was a perfect way to start your day.
Our room, the prestige suite, was spacious and comfortable. I honestly slept better than I have ever slept in a hotel. I am sure the plush bed and soothing waves in the background contributed to that. The interior surpassed the photos online (that is rare!!)
Relaxing on the deck with a book or snorkeling with the incredible diversity of fish right off of the deck was bliss. The crystal clear, warm water was heaven.
I will dream of this vacation forever.

Beautiful location. Nice rooms. Snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding right from the balcony of the hotel. Nice folks. Great lunch spot walking distance away. Would definitely recommend (and go to Coco Beach!)

Ein sehr gemütliches Boutique Hotel. Spiegelt die Flair und stil der Insel wider (viele sehr ästhetisch abgestimmte Deko Elemente mit Holz, Muscheln etc. ) qualitative Ausstattung, AC. Perfekt ist der Blick auf die Lagune und die Erreichbarkeit zu vielen Restaurants. Schade fand ich den Service. Frühstück kann man sich für jeden Tag bestellen oder alternativ selbstverpflegung machen da man eine gut ausgestattete kleine Küche zu jeden Bungalow hat. Wir hatten ein Garten-Bungalow und ich muss leider sagen dass mir teilweise die Sonne gefehlt hat (so schön auch der angelegte kleine Jungel auch ist).

Un établissement situé dans un quartier très calme dans un jardin luxuriant au bord du lagon. Dès l’arrivé on est frappé par le soin porté à la décoration ainsi que de la gentillesse de l’accueil. Les chambres sont spacieuses et luxueuses, la literie est excellente, salle de bains confortable dans le même ton de bien-être. Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer à Moorea.||On y sert que le déjeuner, pas de dîner à l’établissement, mais d’amples options pour se restaurer dans les environs.

Le paradis dans un hotel boutique au bord de l'eau. Le calme, le soin du d'écor, le jardin vraiment luxuriant, la patronne, Eileen,inérnarrable dans le bon sens, les lumières de soir qui attire beaucoup de poisson en frénésie alimentaire la nuit, un spectacle incontournable. Un bar et des salons cozy et décorés avec soins, un étang à koi. Devant le lagon. restaurants à 5 minutes. Kayaks et matériel de snorkelling à louer

My husband and I had a short but lovely stay in Moorea and Fenua Mata’i’oa was the best place we could have picked. It offers all the comfort of mainstream hotels with the comfort of home. The atmosphere is extra cozy with huge couches across the communal space where guests can relax and enjoy the moment. The decor of the hotel is thoroughly thought out and its beauty surprises its guest at every corner. The view is just stunning, with a deck with chairs for guests on the beach, from where we spotted several times manatees and barrier sharks as well countless other fishes. Guests can rent kayak or sup and take a little tour of the lagoon which we did every day of our stay. The hotel can also organize massages for the guests (which I highly recommend). Eileen is super nice, welcoming and helpful and really wants the guests to have the best time.

Eileen has created something special. The vibe is bohemian chic with attention to detail that makes you feel like you truly are in paradise. Anything you might want to do is easily coordinated with the front desk. The lounge and waterfront area is so relaxing. We definitely will be back!

My stay at Hotel Fenua was nothing short of magical. I had booked for two people. But my other had to cancel so I traveled solo. What a paradise within a paradise! Eileen has created a peaceful Oasis of beauty infused with authentic island charm, but also with your tech needs, if required. Everyone was helpful booking excursions for me, recommending restaurants and generally being wonderful every day. I never wanted to leave. Grab a kayak and explore the lagoon or languish at her beautiful dock and watch eagle rays glide by at sunset. Thank you to Eileen and her very caring staff!

Après deux semaines de séjour dans notre suite du Prince Tamatoa, au bord du lagon, nous avons jusqu'au dernier jour découvert dans l'hotel des petits recoins charmants, ici et là un objet d'art qui nous avait échappé, un autre angle sur une vue lumineuse. C'est comme si nous etions seuls dans l'hotel, et chez nous.
Eileen, tu es une fée, tu nous as offert un accueil mémorable et un séjour inoubliable!

Eileen nous a accueilli avec les bras grand ouverts, réglant toutes les questions que nous pouvions poser.
L'hôtel est splendide, les chambres exceptionnelles et le cadre somptueux. Je ne sais pas où nous aurions pu trouver mieux à Moorea.
L’accès direct au lagon, qui nous amène au Motu Tiahura par kayak en 15 minutes.
Un tour à ne pas manquer avec Robinson que Eileen nous a organisé : le tour du lagon ofrre un snorkeling avec les raies et les requins à pointe noire, les tortues tout cela dans un aquarium à ciel ouvert.
Et chance ultime : merci Eileen de nous avoir ouvert la suite sur le lagon que nous avons adoré les deux derniers jours avec nos enfants.
Nous garderons en mémoire ce moment privilégié chez toi, merci Eileen!

We stayed for 4 nights to kick off our 25th anniversary trip and this was the perfect spot in Moorea! Beautiful gardens and decor, with a long deck alongside the lagoon. Each room is super original, we stayed in one that was set back from the water but still had a private beach and garden area. Very quiet and peaceful. Kayaks, snorkel gear and SUPs are extra charge. We wished we had rented a car for Moorea. There's a well stocked store nearby on the main road. No problem booking through hotels.com.

This is SUCH AN AMAZING place to stay in Moorea. Eileen is such a sweetheart. She made us feel right at home as if we were truly HER personal guests. We were greeted right away with a drink and a Lei. Shown around, and really just cared about.
This is not a Glitzy Fashion Palace.... THIS is Real French Polynesian, with a rich glitzy service experience. Less than 1/2 the price of an OTW Bungalow with much more privacy.
The grounds are absolutely stunning and the over the water dock both pubic and the private dock for the Prestige Suite (Highly recommend this suite) is nothing short of fabulous.
I am excited to write this rave review because they deserve it.
From her willingness to help, to her ability to be available but not in your face it is a pleasure.
If you are looking for the best overall experience, all the while supporting this amazing family, then this is the place for you.
Kayaks to rent, flippers and snorkel gear (we had our own) and everyone on the island knows her so the vendors will always pick you up there and treat you special, as one of Eileen's Guests.
There is a market less than 5 minutes walk, 1 minute drive and restaurant (A GREAT ONE) 1/2 that distance away.
The location is perfect for Rudy's or Holy Steak House, and none of the adventures are more than 15-20 minutes away, most are about 5-10 minutes.
I could not recommend this place more highly -
