庞马尔城堡(Château de Pommard)

J'ai fait une belle dégustation. Ensuite, j'ai acheté pour 800 $ de vin chez eux. Ils ont complètement oublié mon achat et ont convenu d'une date de livraison. Quand je leur ai rappelé mon achat, ils me l'ont envoyé lors de ce qui s'est avéré être la journée la plus chaude de l'année. Je leur ai même envoyé un e-mail lorsqu'ils m'ont annoncé qu'ils allaient l'envoyer, leur disant d'attendre maintenant, car il faisait trop chaud. Ils ont quand même envoyé le colis. À l'arrivée, les bouchons étaient enfoncés et le vin avait mauvais goût. Leur seule solution a été de me faire expédier du vin d'une valeur de 800 $ en France depuis la Californie afin qu'ils puissent déterminer s'ils pensaient qu'il avait été gâté par une livraison à plus de 38 °C. Leur incompétence m'a coûté 800 $. Je tiens à préciser qu'ils ne sont que des crus de village.

I had a nice tasting. Then, I bought $800 worth of wine from them. Then, they completely forgot about my purchase and agreed upon delivery date. Then when I reminded them of my purchase, they sent it to me on what turned out to be the single hottest day of the year. I even emailed them with 48 hours when they told me they were now going to send it, telling them to wait now because it was too hot. They did not wait for me to confirm or bother to check the internet for the weather forcast. If they did, they would see it was going to be over 100 degrees farenheit. They sent the package anyways. When the package arrived, the corks were pushed up and the wine tasted bad. Their only solution was for me to ship $800 worth of wine back to France from California so that they could determine if they thought it was spoiled by being delivered on a day of over 100 degrees farenheit. By the time I even tried one of their wines since it was supposed to be a good memory and I have other bottles for immediate consumption, enough time had already passed that portions of the shipment were being stored in different locations. They want me to chase down every single bottle and figure out how to ship it to them?! They want the bottles back for analysis of the cause? It was over 100 degrees farenheit when shipped, this isn't rocket science. Their incompetence cost me $800. I should point out that they are only village Cru too.

Si vous ne vouliez pas recevoir de monde hier il suffisait de ne pas ouvrir. Le ton hautin de la personne à l'accueil aura eu raison de notre passage. Nous sommes répartis sans rien acheter ou consommer. Dommage vous ne croulez pas sous les visiteurs en mars...

Inoltre,abbiamo avuto l’occasione di degustare qualche vino ottimo dello Château.
