Got canceled at short notice and got scolded on the phone because they wanted to postpone to a time that was not suited to my family. I did agree to come later but not enough it seems. The original time was suggested by the winery and we are traveling 4 & 5 hrs respectively - 2 families & kids. On the phone they didn’t seem pleased to know we had kids ( I had told them). We agreed we would come later & wait outside if need be as we had departed already & were on our way. Found out they had a business meeting that got postponed hence the call. An apology would have been nice. This was supposed to be the highlight of our visit. I can imagine they are having a stressful day but the rudeness & scolding on the phone was upsetting. We found another family run winery thx to friends who know the region & they accepted to take us at short notice. I don’t doubt the excellence of the wine but treating people badly on the phone is not acceptable. I will not recommend this place.
