We were very excited to visit Chateau de Longecourt after a very long drive from the UK! We arrived around 10-15mins before the official check-in time of 5pm & sadly didn't receive a warm greeting. We were asked to sit in the garden until 5pm! Having travelled for hundreds of miles, it wasn't the best greeting!|Thankfully, the remainder of our stay was lovely. We ordered the charcuterie in the evening which was delicious. It's not possible to order a glass of wine (only a bottle) and we didn't receive any recommendations. Having read other reviews, we did wonder if perhaps the owners were absent during our trip...|Overall, a fabulous venue, just the welcome & lack of 'management' which was missing for us

Stunning place run by wonderful people who are part of the history of this remarkable place.|We visited recently and fell in love with this place. Our little dog loves it so much that he kept running back into the castle and hiding from us, delaying our journey back! |We had superb evening walk, delicious local wine and variety of cold meat and cheeses with olives and tomatoes.|We stayed in the biggest room with a beautiful view. Very clean place and super comfy bed. Woke up to the sound of churches bells and a cockerel”s song
