Lovely place to have a drink, I had an excellent experience here, a very good glass of Gevrey-Chambertin, the bière pression was very good too according to my boyfriend. Excellent Croque-Monsieur, and the waitress was so nice and smiley, and efficient although she was Ali e to serve the terrace. Unlike at “La cave de Venus” DO NOT GO THERE. I’m French but with an English boyfriend and we were treated so badly we left. She was such a nasty caricature of bad French table service I was ashamed to be French. She would not allow me to go to the toilet until I had ordered and paid for my order, we were treated in such a way we were made to feel like we might do a runner. We look like and are decent people so we felt insulted by this silly woman.
The girl at “Le Tue Chien” got a massive tip as a result. Go there, you will be treated kindly!! And it’s good!
