We paid for a late checkout, but were told on arrival that this wasn't possible anymore and would be refunded. After a lengthy discussion and explaining that we had to work, the receptionist eventually agreed. I found it unacceptable that you offer a service, then try to remove it. There were very loud works above our room, with almost non-stop drilling from the early hours of the morning until early afternoon. We were not informed of this, and it made working in my room very difficult. We should have been informed of this in advance and given an alternative room, considering we informed the receptionist we would be working.

We've stayed here many times on our way to the south of France. It is an excellent, high quality stopover and business hotel with a high standard of service and clean, well-equipped and comfortable rooms. It has a secure basement parking area, which includes spaces for electric vehicle charging.|The hotel is set around an attractive sheltered courtyard which includes a small pool and and an external dining/sitting area served from the adjacent bar and restaurant. The restaurant is excellent, with a varied and delicious menu - dinner here is always a highlight of our journey south.
