We had a truly great meal here. The flavors were divine. From the first bite, you know you've arrived at a great French restaurant. Our waitress was amazing. She also picked all of the wines to go with the tasting menu. The fish was cooked perfectly, with almost a steak-like texture. The nettle sauce that came with it was really amazing and I wanted to get every last drop. The tempura artichokes were also fabulous.

Writing this immediately after our dinner at Loiseau des Ducs; I simply could not wait.

There is so much more to this restaurant than the Michelin star. I don’t usually like comparing, as each table is its own, but I can say with certainty — you will not regret a single moment here.

Posting photos that I hope will convince you to share the wonderful experience that is Loiseau des Ducs. The excellent level of service is a perfect complement to the food and wine.

ps. The choice of music, jazz/standards, was a nice touch. Chansons Françaises would have been perfect too!

Wir hatten uns von einem Besuch in einem Sterne-Restaurant deutlich mehr versprochen. Das Essen war gut, aber einige Komponenten nicht auf Sterneniveau - zum Beispiel der Gruß aus der Küche mit einem vertrockneten Windbeutel. Das Rote-Beete-Mousse ohne Finesse. Das Erbsenpüree ebenfalls langweilig und leicht mehlig. Das Jus zum Lamm zu dünn und ohne Tiefgang.
Auch beim Service gibt es viel Luft nach oben. Die Weinkarte erhielten wir erst auf Nachfrage und bei der Frage, welchen der zwei von uns ausgewählten Weine man empfehlen könne, erhielten wir nur die lapidare Antwort: "Ich würde diesen nehmen"
Die Tische waren sehr schlicht eingedeckt. Das Besteck lag auf dem blanken Holztisch. Nach den einzelnen Gängen dauerte es sehr lange, bis das benutzte Geschirr abgeräumt wurde.
Fazit: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt hier überhaupt nicht. 360,- Euro für zwei Personen war definitiv zu viel.

I recently dined here, which has a Michelin star. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected.

First, it seemed they were overwhelmed, possibly due to overbooking. With only three staff members attending to all the guests, the service was notably slow. We waited over four hours to enjoy a four-course meal.

Additionally, the staff did not clear the plates promptly, and glasses were left on the table for an extended period. What added to the disappointment was the interaction with the maître d' when settling the bill, which was nearly 1200 euros. Unfortunately, the maître d' seemed unapologetic and almost disrespectful, which was not what I expected from a Michelin-starred establishment.

I hope they can address these issues to meet the high standards expected. If not, Michelin should check their accreditation for a restaurant of this rating.
