During our Wine Trip 2025, we had the pleasure of visiting Family Picard, and it was truly a memorable experience. We looked in the cellar and learned about the meticulous processes behind their wines and gaining a deeper appreciation for their craftsmanship. The staff was very knowledgeable and passionate, making the tour both informative and engaging.
While not everyone in our group preferred all of the wines, there was a wide variety to taste, allowing everyone to find something they enjoyed. Overall, Family Picard offered a rich and educational insight into their wine production.

We stayed in the area for a few days. Drove up and down the Route des Vins and stopped here for a tasting. Checked online and this winery did look interesting.
It's a very nice Domaine, a wonderful building and grounds. Parking space right out front. Surprisingly there weren't many visitors on that saturday.
The tasting room is set very nice and the tastings were well done. The wines got explained nicely and we really were able to take our time with it and to roam around the small tasting room. We tried some white Saint Aubin Premier Cru and a red Chassagne Montrachet. The red was really tasty. Fruity, nicely balanced. A really impressive Pinot Noir. A beautiful french wine. The white was good, but not much our style. We looked for something a bit richer and heavier. Ended up buying two bottles of red and a blind buy that was not available for tasting: a white Chassagne-Montrachet En Pimont - Au Pied du Mont Chauve. Turned out to be a fantastic Chardonnay, rich and full of flavours. Amazing wine.
This was a fabulous tasting experience with wonderful wine. Everybody really friendly and helpful. Fair prices for the high quality of the wine as well. And our Bulldog was even welcome in here too. Surely a place to come back to. And their wines are now also on my "to buy" list.

Très beau domaine et très beau château, la visite fut agréable et très bien détaillée.
Les vins dégustés étaient excellents.

Très bon accueil. Nous voyons que la personne qui nous a fait la visite et passionnée dans son métier car elle était intéressante et nous a expliqué beaucoup de choses. Un moment agréable. Bonne dégustation de vins.

Wir hatten nicht reserviert, jedoch hat uns die Dame vom Büro gesagt eine Degustation wäre in 30 Minuten möglich. Dann haben wir 40 Minuten gewartet und bei Nachfrage beim Angestellten im Degustationsraum wurde uns dann gesagt die Dame vom Büro sei unfähig und Degustationen seien nur auf Reservation möglich.

We waited for 40 minutes, and when we inquired with the employee in the tasting room, we were told that the lady from the office was incompetent and tastings were only possible with a reservation.

Hi wine lovers or people curious about Burgundy. Whilst passing through Chassagne-Montrachet, the Famille Picard building lured me in, I was with wife and kids (13 and 16). We just parked up and walked in. I love wine and would love to have seen the cellars etc but we were on route to Spain after a night in Meursault which is 3 miles away (awesome too!). Our experience at Famille Picard was perfect. I just wanted to learn some things and buy some wine and they totally passed the test, well Yohan did. What a lovely man Yohan is! Patient, knowledgable, good at advising and fun...he did not have to be but we (my family) loved Yohan - hence I spent a 1000 Euros on 18 beautiful bottles, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir....I have since read so much about the Famille Picard wines and region I am tempted to go back home the same way and stop there again!!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this house in Chassagne-Montrachet...*****/*****
