The Royal Bora Bora has a bizarre policy towards guests who are not interested in paying for its restaurant's frequent "special evenings" with mandatory "buffet menus". We were not allowed to sit down at the bar just for a drink; indeed we were not even allowed to access the beach on New Year's eve because of the strange buffet fixation! Not very hospitable.

Garden hotel rooms with a private beach area. Stayed here for a couple of days and they can help arrange private transfers (1750 xpf per person). Our room had AC and there is a filtered water station. They gave us leis upon arrival and they were very helpful at reception. We rented bikes for 4 hours from them (1500 xpf) - note that the bikes do have a basket but you brake by backpedaling. They don’t have any bikes with a side car but there were a couple with baby seats in the back. The reception takes cash and credit card. There’s free breakfast buffet with hot food and indoor/outdoor seating is available. There’s a bar as well where you can have snacks/order alcohol.

Les chambres donnent sur un jardin magnifique!

Bien situé, avec une plage privée sur une vue magnifique. Chambres spacieuses et confortables mais personnel en sous effectif... le malaise des différentes équipes avec une surcharge de travail évident était palpable...

Hôtel très bien situé. La partie réception, restauration ainsi que la piscine, côté mer. Un très joli parc dans lequel se trouve quelques bâtiments de 2 étages abritant de jolies chambres.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Dommage que la carte, quant à elle, ne propose que très peu de plats locaux, et que le réceptionniste ne soit pas d avantage à l écoute de ses clients.
Petit plus : les meilleurs plats sont à déguster dans les roulottes situées à 10 mn de l Hôtel, et Nono, pas très loin de l ĥôtel, vous organisera la plus belle découverte de l île par bateau.
