Très belle cave, grande diversité

Mercredi 2 juillet, en pleine canicule, nous décidons d'une visite au Marché aux vins de Beaune, avec nos cousins suédois, en visite dans la région.
Les explications affichées dans les caves sont claires et bien fournies.
Puis vient la dégustation à l'étage, dans une grande salle où sont exposées une quantité impressionnante de bouteilles de Bourgogne.
Dégustation de 3 vins (avec verre offert) menée de main de maître par Nicolas dont la maîtrise de l'anglais est parfaite.
Ses connaissances et sa gentillesse ont fait de cette dégustation un moment très agréable et personnalisé.
Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir avec des amis en visite.

We had a wonderful experience with their guided tasting tour. My husband and I paid for the tasting, while our son accompanied us without participating, as he’s not into wine. The group size was limited to 10 people, but it ended up being just the three of us. Our guide spoke excellent English and shared his deep local wine expertise throughout the tour.
We tasted four red wines, including a Grand Cru valued at around USD 295 per bottle (based on my later research), and three white wines featuring two premium crus.
We were very impressed with the wine selection and overall tasting experience. The next day, when we dined at a local Michelin-starred restaurant, the sommelier recommended a red from the same winery as the first red we tasted (Marsannay 2021, approximately USD 64 per bottle market value or $85 in a Lyon restaurant ) to pair with our meal, which included both fish and chicken.
Pinot Noir from Burgundy is well-structured and far more sophisticated than many Napa counterparts, which I find somewhat overpriced. The flavor profiles vary greatly depending on the winery and vintage.
The Chardonnay also stood out, especially when served at the proper temperature. We particularly enjoyed the Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Les Champlots 2022 Blanc from Domaine Gilles Bouton et Fils (Vivino rating 4.0). Its floral and fruity notes of peach, apricot, and lemon, combined with a buttery hint and balanced acidity, made it exceptionally refreshing on an early summer day. We purchased a bottle and savored it back at our hotel. The wine glasses we used during tasting became a store souvenir.

It’s a pity that both red and white Burgundy wines are quite delicate and don’t travel well in summer heat. Nevertheless, this historical church-turned-boutique wine market is a true gem.

I highly recommend this guided tasting experience, especially for visitors from outside Europe. Good value with pleasant surprises.

本来只想随便看看，进去没想到还有个帅哥会说中文，他在中国呆过好几年，还给我推荐了符合中国人口味的酒，愉快的购置了好几瓶。商店里面还有个14世纪的老教堂，可以免费参观哦。

Nice staff, but this is a very impersonal solo experience walking by maps, with not very good wine, which is poured by a machine. You can do much better in Beaune!

Been there 3 times now. Great service, even though i asked for a pretty strange version of the prestige tasting. Some very nice finds, at decent money.

Baune est un emplacement privilégié et voir même, précieux, malheureusement les business comme le marché aux vins se foutent de nous. Cinq vins à déguster à 29€ par personne: ladoix les chaillots, un vins moyen sans plus, Marsannais rouge (vin de supermarché), beaune premier cru (le seul décent mais a fossé tellement minuscule que je ne m'a rappel pas), Chablis 2022 (passable mais avec une mauvaise température), Pulligny (passable). Ils se foutent de nous sans pitié. Au total 6 ml de vin dont 90% de qualité supermarché et non pas dégustation. Je déconseille 100%. Par contre, verre offert.

Il Marché aux Vins di Beaune è un vero gioiello per chiunque apprezzi il buon vino. Situato nel cuore della Borgogna, offre una selezione incredibile di vini locali, dai più accessibili ai cru più prestigiosi. L'ambiente è caloroso e accogliente, perfetto per degustare i vini con calma e lasciarsi consigliare dagli esperti. Ottima anche la possibilità di scoprire i produttori locali e la storia della regione vinicola. Una tappa imperdibile per un'esperienza enogastronomica autentica!

Excellent place to have a wine tasting, where you can also taste top wines. We were helped by M. Laurent Corneillat whom has an excellent knowledge of wines and the area. Top service.

I don’t know why governments or municipalities try to get into fine-dine business it never fully works. This place was a wine cave run by the local municipality so please forgive any shortcomings if any. It was good and I did see a wide variety of wines.
They do charge for tasting.

Connu ce lieu il y a 40 ans et l'envie de le faire partager à de la famille nous nous sommes fendu des 15 euros visite dégustation 3 vins. Mais quels regrets!!! Aurions mieux fait d'aller acheter une bouteille ailleurs ! En fait rien de génial à voir et quand aux vins dégustés ( là le mot dégustation prends un certain sens vu les 1 cl au fond du verre) de ma vie je n'avais autant eu envie de vomir avec un MARSANNAY dont je ne saurais dire quel nez attribuer tant il était horrible ! Et puis les deux autres on trouve nettement mieux chez LIDL ! Quand au distributeur style machine à café, alors là c'est vraiment à chier . D'autres personnes à coté de nous, des Bourguignons , tout comme nous , on recraché très vite ce Marsannay et ont également déploré d'avoir payé pour une si médiocre prestation !
Si j'ai un conseil à donner c'est fuyez et allez visiter et déguster ailleurs que dans cet attrape touristes! La Bourgogne regorge de magnifiques caves où s'allient plaisir des yeux et du palais !
Là .....passez votre chemin !

Dégustation faite ce jour. Nous sommes habitués à aller dans cette cave depuis des années et cette fois très déçus pas d interaction avec les employés machine qui fonctionne mal. D habitude nous repartons avec des achats mais la rien ne nous a fait envie d acheter. Dommage pour nous.

A very good service each time. Even if the prices a bit higher its compensated with a good welcome, their advices and willingness to help.

Vasta proposta di vini in un bellissimo ambiente d'epoca. Bella degustazione, con parte della visita nella freschissima cantina. Vini serviti alle temperature corrette e personale gentilissimo.

Très beau bâtiment et belle cave la dégustation en elle-même reste modeste par rapport au site. A la fin de la visite libre des grands crus sont servis par un distributeur automatique, dommage....25€ par personne avec 5 fonds de verre de vins différents. Consolation le verre est offert.

Go here for your Burgundy wine tasting! Just don’t go during lunch hour!

Unpleasant reception. This is supposed to be a wine tasting place. Everywhere their signs indicate 14h00 to 19h00. However, two bored employees told us at 18h20 PM that winetasting was no longer possible. Too much work.

Disappointing. I selected the premiere tasting package (more expensive) but the wines are not up to par. I did the walk through by myself, there was no one to assist. The reds came out of a machine which included a grand cru. Do not recommend.

Well worth a visit. An easy self guided tour is accompanied with home exceptional wines to taste and really friendly staff

Very rude person at the reception. We decidef to leave and buy pur wines somewhere else, there are some many options! With employes like this you don‘t need to fear the competitors.

Absolutely loved our experience at Boutique Wine Market! The self-paced wine tasting through the cellar was fantastic for our small group of 3. Tasting 8 wines, including 3 premier cru, was a highlight, and the massive maps added depth to the experience. In just one hour, we learned so much and enjoyed every moment. A big shoutout to the team for their incredible wine knowledge and hospitality. Highly recommend this gem for any wine enthusiast!
