The room here was great. It was large for a French hotel. The employees of the hotel are excellent and service orientated. They are there to help. They booked nice restaurant reservations for us and did other things. Adrien is wonderful. He is personable, and extremely helpful. He listens, and then has the contacts you need to get something done. The location in Beaune is great because you can walk everywhere easily. Not too far from the train station either. The bar is well appointed and the restaurant next door is very high quality. Looking forward to staying there during a spring time trip.

Sans doute le plus beau et le plus charmant des hotels de Bourgogne. De Jean-Claude a toute l equipe l ambiance est magnifique. Les chambres sont tres belles, le petit dejeuner un reve avec plein de produits frais et laucaux. Il y a aussi le restaurant avec une belle et prestigieuse table, il y a aussi la Cave ou vous pouvez faire des degustations organises, il y a le spa avec des traitements revolutionaires comme la cryogenie et beaucoup d autres services de beaute et de bien etre, des cours de yoga etc la liste est bien longue. Il faut rester minimum 3 nuits dans ce bel endroit pour pouvoir en profite. |L’hotel est situe en plein centre de Beaune - a deux pas des Hospices de Beaune.|Je vous recommande cet hotel pour les affaires ou pour les vacances.|Vous n allez pas choisir un autre hotel apres, une fois venu dans cet hotel il donne des envies de revenir.|Merci Infiniment Jean Claude, Laurent, Adrien et a toute l equipe pour mon sejour a Beaune.|Hate de vous revoir l annee prochaine????

A beautiful place, unique in its architecture and decor. It’s an old building that turned into a hotel . The hotel is in the center of Beaune close to all the shops and 10 minutes away from the vineyards. The staff are very friendly. Each room in the hotel is different. Very classic and historic, yet modern quality.

I chose Le Cep as I believed I would receive a classic French experience in the heart of Beaune. The ambience of the hotel, the room, the breakfast offering and the staff provided that and as one says in English 'in spades."

We enjoyed this hotel very much probably the best in Beaune. We had a fabulous time here. Our beautiful hostess Leah at breakfast was delightful. Breakfast was terrific! Our bartender was very nice! We enjoyed beef Bourgogne at a nearby restaurant.

Le prestige ne fait pas tout... chambre vieillotte, accueil froid et technique (sans regard au client, pas de sourire ...)
Par contre le veilleur de nuit bcp plus accueillant et naturel merci

We had a very comfortable stay. Fantastic hotel, great staff, very lovely large room (107), great breakfast, my wife had a really good treatment in the Spa and we really enjoyed our meal in the adjacent restaurant. The other night we ate at L'Expression which we would also heartily recommend.

Exceptionnel ! Très bien situé, vastes espaces intérieurs et extérieurs, le charme de l'ancien ! Personnel toujours présent et attentif,... Pour faire vrai, critiquons quand même quelque chose : il manque un vrai petit déjeuner anglo-saxon, surtout vu la clientèle !

Beautiful period hotel in keeping with Beaune and the surrounding gorgeous burgundy vines. Great service. Centrally located. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel but they take care of you and book local places. We stayed 2 nights and both restaurants were excellent. They have safe parking for your car if you are touring and they are on hand to help with your luggage. I highly recommend Le Cep if you are staying in Beaune.

DON’T BUY!!

Stunning location however something bad was underneath. The hotel rooms were unfurnished, the rooms were dusty and when buying an expensive bottle of wine, we received water instead! The service was good but regardless there are far better options! Save yourself hundreds of Euros.

The reviews on this hotel are mixed. I trusted the positive reviews, Hotel reputation, and “Small Luxury Hotels” affiliation, and I chose wrong. Avoid.

My family of 6 booked rooms months in advance, and specifically selected restaurants (via friends and recommendations) for dinner all three nights. We arrived in our rooms, and my room (222) had a giant bundle of hair on the bathroom floor. The carpet in the bedroom was clearly dirty. The hotel staff fixed it but this is a severe disappointment for a “5 star hotel.” Then we get to our first dinner reservation, and the hotel had booked us for the wrong number of people. When I called the front desk, they fumbled and didn’t apologize. Finally, we get back to the hotel, and the front desk staff inform us that they must change the dinner restaurants for the next few nights because the reservation desk made a mistake and the restaurants can’t fit 6 people. They didn’t even offer to make reservations at comparable restaurants.

This is unacceptable. This is absolutely not a “5 star hotel.” I wish we had decided to stay at one of the other newer properties in Beaune. Avoid.

Hotel Le Cep came to us as a recommendation from another couple and we're so glad we stayed! Their website is pretty outdated and doesn't really capture the charm this hotel has. The service is top notch and the location is right in the heart of the city. It's quiet, clean, and the courtyard area is the perfect place to start and end your day. There's no food besides breakfast so just be aware, but there's plenty of places nearby and the hotel will help set up reservations for you. Lunch in France is pretty strictly 12p-2p, which for us was a tight window! Ask the front desk to help set up lunch reservations at a spot that serves outside that window. Highly recommend this stay!

Emplacement ideal, service et personnels top ! Une très belle expérience au SPA. La déco des chambres n'est pas à mon goût et il manque un "coin" piscine...sinon 5/5 sans cela.

The staff was very attentive. Our room was very nice. Keep in mind the AC is not turned on until June 1st. However we we able to enjoy the fresh air opening the windows.

Accueil chaleureux, accès à H2O TOP. Le lieu est propre et calme.
Au moment ou on entre dans ce lieu, la sérénité est là.
Le massage était adapté à ma demande de pression.

Très bel endroit. J'ai fait le rituel Le Cep hammam gommage et massage. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable le massage était parfait un des meilleurs que j'ai pu réalisé. Espace de détente très agréable si ce n'est qu'il n'est pas possible d'en profiter entre le hammam et le soin et ensuite si il y'a d'autres personnes ce qui était notre cas ce n'est pas possible car limité à 3 places. Nous n'avons pas vu ou pu essayer le sauna. Le hammam était très bien. Dommage qu'il n'y est pas de jacuzzi et qu'après le soin massage on ne puisse pas profiter librement de l'espace H2O pour refaire un sauna ou hammam ou jacuzzi si il y en avait un.

Un spa ? Juste un hammam et une douche ! Le sauna ne fonctionnait pas. Pas de jacuzzi, pas de bassin. Bref très déçue ! 30 euros pour 1 heure, je trouve que c'est bien trop cher pour ce que c'est.
