Le Grand Bleu was recommended to us by our hotel (Henry II) and in terms of food it was pretty good. We had the Three Specialities of Burgundy as a shared starter with a glass of house champagne. The pork was delicious. The crevette salad was fine. The chocolate desert was pretty good. The reason for two stars is the maitre d’. He pushed the most expensive items on the menu. Lobster at €90 and a whole sole at €112. We declined but noticed he was doing the same unconvincing performance of friendly advice at every table. Also he failed to tell us at the start of the meal that his card machine was broken and it was cash only. He didn’t even mention it when he brought the bill. Only when we came to pay it. To announce it’s €130 cash at that point is embarrassing. We protested that he should have told us earlier. He protested that he was going to have to close his restaurant tomorrow and that it was very frustrating for him. He directed me round the corner to a cash machine and clearly pissed off that my partner, a woman, had firmly told him it was not best practice, chose that moment to berate her. When I returned and she told me about his hostility and rudeness, we left without a word, leaving behind the exact amount on the bill, in cash and small coins; €131.40.
The other staff are great. He is not.

Très bon déjeuner en famille, accueil sympa et conseil sur les plats au top. Belle présentation, très bon avec soin appliqué tant aux plat que a l accompagnement, et accord des vins au verre parfait. Je recommande à fond! Nous avons passé un excellent moment en terrasse. Tarif cohérent avec la qualité proposée.
