Rückblick Hilton Northolme

das kleinste Hilton Resort der Welt überzeugt mit großen Zimmern, einem guten Service und kulinarischer Abwechslung.

Auch die Lage war für uns perfekt. An den kleinen Buchten/Stränden des Hotels kann man gut baden und schnorcheln.
Die Strände sind exklusiv für die Hotelgäste.

Das Frühstück geht A‘la Carte und als Büffet. Es ist gut und abwechslungsreich.
Die Restaurants und die Bars kann man mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt dort.

Der SPA wird von der Firma Eforea geführt. Die selbe Firma führt den Spa auf Silhouette (Hilton Labriz) . Der SPA-Bereich ist eher klein aber sehr gemütlich und bietet atemberaubende Ausblicke aufs Meer. Preislich fanden wir die Angebote ziemlich human.

Als Diamond Member bekommt man zusätzlich zu den übrigen Benefits, Getränkegutscheine (2 Weingläser, 2 Local-Cocktails, 2 Wasser beim Essen). Im SPA bekommt man 15% Rabatt.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer (Nummer 406) mit Pool an der ersten Reihe (Signature Grand Ocean Pool Villa). Es war traumhaft. Wir würden diese Zimmerkategorie wieder buchen.

Hotel pieknie polozony, obrosniety sama zielenia, na wzgorzu, z bardzo ladnym widokiem na stolice i ocean. Plaze bardzo kameralne, srednio po 50m szerokosci, wiec moze to kogos kto poszukuje pieknej plazy na Seszelach rozczarowac, ale sa za to bardzo urokliwe. Nie polozymy sie na plazy na lezaku bo jest zbyt mala. Serwis i obsluga bardzo mila. Sniadania wspaniale, wyciskane soki, dania z menu. Kolacje rowniez smaczne. Jeden basen ale okolo 25 miejsc do lezenia a hotel ma lacznie 56 pokoi w tym niektore z prywatnymi basenami wiec miejsc przy basenie dla kazdego wystarczy. Bardzo kameralny. Muzyka na zywo codziennie w barze, na bardzo dobrym poziomie. Ogolnie bardzo polecamy na kilka dni na Mahe.

Absolutely great well maintained property with amazing location. They treat you with care despite being busy.

Surprised us with a small pancake dish on departure morning. Have a rare tree in property and great views from mahe restaurant.

호텔이 비싼만큼 밥도 맛있었고 편의시설도 대만족이였다! 맨처음에 방이 에어컨도 안되고 수영장 순환이 안되서 덥고 더러웠고 그거 수리하는데 시간이 엄청걸렸음. 그때문인지 레이트체크아웃해주심! 호텔자체내에 쉴수있는공간이 있어서 너무 좋음!
일찍나와서 거기서 앉아서 쉼. 물이나 커피도 마실수있다

The Hilton Northolme has in effect annexed all access to the little Northolme beach. In Seychelles, all beaches even those occupied by hotels, allow or enable access to the public. Visitors are normally free to have a coffee at the hotel, or to buy something at the boutique, and to go to the beach. However the Hilton Northolme enforces a policy of exclusion which we personally find detestable: no children under 13 are allowed to the beach. Years ago, we went to this hotel for a snack and swam at the beach. We returned another year, after it had become a Hilton. We were always able to access the beach. But in November 2023, we returned for the third time. We waited as our request to have a drink at the Ocean View Bar and to go to the beach was passed on to three officials. Finally, a fourth, a bouncer, came to regret with a deprecating smile, that we were not allowed to access the beach, the reason being that our group of four included one nine year old child. We learned that this hotel enforces an anti-children policy. A couple behind us wanting a coffee were, we suppose, allowed through. We are scandalised by this treatment of us. We think that the Hilton Northolme should banish their anti-children policy, for humane reasons, and to ensure a good relationship with potential clients, as well as to respect the Seychelles principle that no hotel can monopolize in effect, access to the beach.

Unsere Villa hatte ca. 85qm, war etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Niemand sollte hier HP buchen, da die Diner-Pauschale von 69 € (für 3 Gänge) viel höher ist, als a la carte. Es ist ausschließlich Wasser inkl., keine Softdrinks, kein Wein. Der preiswerteste Weiswein kostet fast 47 €.

Impatients d’arriver dans notre seconde destination pour notre voyage de noces, nous avons été déçus du Hilton northolme à Mahé.
Il y avait 35 minutes de retard pour que nous puissions récupérer notre villa.
Ensuite, nous avons remarqué que deux lumières ne fonctionnaient pas dont une sur la terrasse ce qui nous a empêché d’en profiter de nuit. Le lendemain matin, nous sommes allés le signaler à la réception. La personne nous a confirmé que quelqu’un allait passer pendant que nous serions partis. En revenant en fin de journée : rien n’avait été changé ! Nous avons été obligés de signaler à nouveau ce problème pour qu’il y ai une intervention.
Le premier soir nous avons mangé au restaurant méditerranéen… une arnaque ! Les plats coûtent très chers, sont minuscules et très peu goûteux.
Enfin, le lendemain, nous avons commandé un repas aux chandelles dans notre chambre. Ne pouvant pas manger de poisson, j’ai demandé à ce que l’entrée soit changée uniquement pour moi. Les plats sont arrivés : il n’y avait du poisson ni pour moi… ni pour mon mari ! Bien que le changement uniquement pour l’un des deux menus ait été précisé à plusieurs reprises.

La villa avec piscine est sublime, le personnel (serveurs/ aide bagage/ aide installation) est adorable. Mais dans ce genre d’endroit, on s’attend à un certain niveau par rapport au service proposé. Ce niveau n’est clairement pas atteint ce qui gâche une partie de l’expérience vécue. Nous espérons ne plus avoir de mauvaises surprises avant la fin de notre séjour !

We came for dinner at the Ocean View Bar, and Jomy showed us a lovely spot to watch the sunset while we sipped on some cocktails and decided what to eat. After sunset we then went back up the deck to enjoy our dinner which was amazing. We felt really spoilt and Jomy took great care of us. To summarize excellent view, excellent food, and excellent service!

So my experience at this hotel was shambles.

Firstly where do i even start.

The first room we checked into was a disaster the aircon wasn’t working neither the fan. We called them to come & fix it. It still wasn’t fixed. As we are from the UK we need that air for us to sleep at night. The room service guy came 3 times at night! Still wasn’t fixed. Next morning they changed our room which was okay then gave us a pool vila. But same again the aircon wasn’t working. The staff there are so uneducated. They brought my belongings in a bag which was in the SAFE. No one but me should have access to it if im changing the room. They put my expensive watches & rings in one bag made my stuff get scratched up. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The manager himself doesn’t even know what hes doing. The location is brilliant but it needs more attention. I am highly disappointed as this was my honeymoon destination. I would not recommend no one to come to this establishment. Book something else then wasting your money here. We came from mauritius first destination of honeymoon stayed at the GRAND LUX HOTEL It was absolutely AMAZING STUNNING BEAUTIFUL. The service the establishment was amazing.

During the time of check-in, you had requested for a complimentary upgrade to one of our pool villa as a gesture. Our team explained the situation of unavailability of pool villa for entire stay and proposed the upgrade price of available nights, which was denied by you. On your first day of arrival, we had prepared your villa according to your special occasion with amenities. In the same day evening, we had received a call about AC temperature was not up to your desire and ceiling fan not functioning properly. Our technician visited and found that the setting was changed in AC. He reset it and confirm it is working. We received the information during same night, still you were not comfortable with the temperature, and you would like to feel the air for you to sleep better. Team managed to check the possibility to do the needful but due to the layout of our villa, we have limitations to move any electric equipment as per your desire.

Next day morning during breakfast, Our Management team met with you personally and apologized for the inconvenience caused, where you had expressed your feedback about the location of the villa and the waterbody next to the villa location. We had discussed what we can do as a service recovery, which is room move for 2 nights and complimentary upgrade to pool villa for your last night with special amenities. We had changed the location of our furniture to meet your expectations and our management team guided you personally to your new villa, where you thanked the team and expressed that you are happy with the new setup. Our team tried the best to provide your pool villa, before the standard check-in time and you had stated that “this is the villa you need for your special occasion”.

We apologized for the inconvenience caused, that your valuable items were left in your villa during room move, which was handed over to you in a bag by our security team. We had shared your valuable feedback to our concern department to maintain consistency in our quality of service. On your last night of stay it was agreed that we will offer romantic bath experience as a gesture and the same was not done, on time due to the villa was on Do not disturb. As per our policy, we can’t enter in a villa which is on do not disturb. Upon your return to your villa, we had prepared the same as earlier as possible.

Your feedback is important to us, and we tried our level best to enhance your stay and to turn around your experience. It’s unfortunate to see that we were not able to meet your expectations.

My first and only time visiting Seychelles, and I was really happy to stay here. The location is quite a distance from the crowd, but the resort itself is huge. It has couple beaches that we can enjoy. The room was spacious, bathtub with outdoor view. The breakfast was good, fresh fruits were ready everytime we ate, as well as any other things on buffet.
The sunset view was perfect when we stayed here.

Stunning location. The layout was private and full of tropical trees and plants. We had a premium ocean view villa. The Villa was spacious and very clean. Fantastic terrace overlooking the sea and private beach. Great bedroom and bathroom facilities. The staff were amazing and were more than happy to help with any concerns or needs we had. Food was very good. I’m vegetarian and the chef would tell me the vegetarian dishes he could make for dinner. This was very thoughtful and gave me a lot of choice. The hotel arranged our transfers and hired us a car for the day; this really helped and reduced the stress in organising - this is a choice and an additional cost to guest.
We had a fantastic and memorable stay at Hilton. The staff and their radiant smiles make it the ‘Northolme experience’. Professional and courteous service throughout.

Wir waren im Februar 2020 für einige Wochen hier in einer tollen Villa mit entsprechenden eigenen Pool und Meerblick. Für die Villa und Ausstattung sind 5 Sterne angemessen und entsprechend der Service vom Hilton zu den schweren Zeiten damals, als gerade ungewisse Covid ausbrach und wir sehr viele Tage Buchungsprobleme mit British Airways hatten im Hinblick auf die Rückreise und das Hotel für uns und 2 weitere Gäste den Betrieb Tage lang aufrecht hielten, was sicherlich unwirtschaftlich war, jedoch alles andere als normale Umstände hierzu führten. Wir konnten schließlich mit der letzten BA Maschine über London zurück fliegen und das Hotelpersonal hat uns bis zuletzt perfekt versorgt und sich bemüht klasse Stimmung mit schwimmenden Dinner im Pool usw. zu bereiten. Trotz der Covid bedingten schwierigen Zeit war das Hotel und sein Personal klasse und eine riesige Hilfe.

Visited this hotel for a week and it was just exceptional especially their service Gorvachov and Anand went to extra lengths to make our trip more memorable.

We had an amazing evening with delicious drinks and nibbles, watching the sun set over the water. Aside from the stunning location, perfect ambience and delicious drinks, the service from Derrick absolutely made our night!! He was so friendly and attentive, and gave great recommendations for gin and dessert (the churros - YUM!). Thank you for an amazing evening!

First of all I would like to thank all the Hilton Northolme & Spa for your hospitality and attitude to „demanding” guests who definietely I am.
Before arriving to Seychelles I spent a lot of time checking all the best hotels and reading reviews, mostly all of them.
I have a fobia of insects, really huge, however its been a long time i was dreaming about visiting Seychelles so decided to face my fears.
The hotel staff is AMAZING.
They were always patient with me, supporting me with really helpful guys like Mubarak, Thomas and another nice man (i forgot the name) who were trying their best to keep all crawling creatures away from me. Always smiling, I would even say, happy to help me.
The hotel itself is in a tropical surrounding so obviously you may face some insects but they are outside together with singing birds and unforgettable sunsets????.
The views from the hotel and villas are to be remeber for a lifetime. Really.
Another thing are the people working in all 3 restaurants. Great people with Open hearts. Nelly, Joge, and others.
Always keeping us with the feeling we were not only random guests, but someone who they like.
Plus the girl who was singing in the bar the previous night-she should be a star, what a voice!!!❤️

Codziennie chciałem zmienić notę; hotel trzeba odświeżyć, kartę dań też (przynajmniej co tydzień), tu mankamencik, tam mankament. Ale atmosfera, piszącego kolejną książkę o Jamesie Bondzie Iana Fleminga (poda 50 lat wcześniej) i NAJCUDOWNIEJSZA OBSŁUGA na całym świecie przeważyły. Polecam dla ludzi szukających klimatu.
