Went for a drink in Princes Bar. Service was slow, for a moderately busy time.

Conveniently located, absolutely gorgeous hotel with impeccible rooms and incredible service. Definitely planning to stay here every time we come to Edinburgh.

Tea at the Balmoral is an over the top experience which puts Japanese ceremonies in the shade. Beautiful surroundings and an extraordinary range of teas and eats, fortunately with a doggy bag. Check with your Bank Manager before you go, but it is worth it.

Excellent service and beautiful hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. I especially loved the three types of salmon for breakfast.
