Superbe accueil. Souriant, professionnel, français, néerlandais, anglais - grande compétence. Meilleur carpaccio qu'on ait mangé. Cadre chaleureux avec le feu ouvert au milieu de la pièce. A recommander. Un peu en dehors des foules touristiques, très bon plan.

Дуже затишне, спокійне місце.
Особливість - це страви на відкритому вогні.
Більше вибір м'яса, але є невеличкий асортимент на рибу/ креветки.

Веганам місце наврядчи підійде.
Загалом тихе, спокійне та романтичне місце,для тих хто хоче провести вечір без шуму.

I had wanted to visit this restaurant for two years and this October I finally managed to get in. I am happy to inform you it met all my expectations.

Bistro De Schaar is a beautiful small restaurant focused on grilled meats located right next to Coupure canal, which is a little less touristy part of the Brugge's city center.

I had a fantastic venison steak with seasonal vegetables as a side dish and the meal was just delicious.

The service was awesome as well and we even got a complimentary appetizer on the house. I also enjoyed the little back story of the restaurant's name (de schaar=scissors).

What can I say, nothing like a family-run place. Bedankt!

Absolutely amazing. We happened to park near the restaurant and had delicious main courses and puddings. Prawnsx2, lamb and duck in raspberry. I had the dark and blonde bourgogne de flandres, both delicious. The creme brullee, was the creamiest, tastiest one I've ever had. Highly Highly recommended!!

Großartiges Essen, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service und ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Es gibt klassische Gerichte immer mit einer kleinen Raffinesse. Alles frisch und hausgemacht. Die Bedienung spricht flämisch, deutsch, Englisch, Französisch und Spanisch und ist sehr aufmerksam. Bei jedem Besuch in Brügge ein absolutes Muss!

Restaurant was fully booked,but lovely owner managed to find us table for 2, what an experience we had, first class service and the best food we have had in years, thank you,if you value good food,cooked by someone who knows what he is doing and also cares about it try to get a table here, you will not be disappointed

Ordered ribeye, cote de boeuf, king prawns, and red house wine. All of them were delicious. Especially the mushroom sauce that served with the meat was great. The ambiance was also good.
